The Bajaj Boxer was discontinued in India in April 2015, and there have been reports suggesting that the company is planning to relaunch it. The bike has recently undergone testing and is expected to be reintroduced as the Boxer X150 Adventure

Wednesday, 04 October 2023 02:51 PM There are rumors that Bajaj might relaunch the Boxer, potentially as the Boxer X150 Adventure, aiming to capture both old and new riders. This new version is expected to come with modern upgrades such as enhanced fuel efficiency, updated design, and improved safety features. I believe this relaunch could shake up the entry-level bike segment and attract a lot of attention.
Tuesday, 07 March 2017 12:30 AM Pictures leaked online show the Bajaj Boxer X150 Cross being tested in India, specifically near Lonavala on the Mumbai-Pune highway. This adventure sports variant features a raised front mudguard, rear carrier, new body graphics, and off-road tires. It is unclear if this is for an Indian launch or international markets. I think this variant could be a great addition to Bajajs lineup, especially for those looking for an off-road capable bike.
Wednesday, 01 April 2015 03:02 PM The Bajaj Boxer was discontinued in India in April 2015 due to changing market preferences and competition from other models. Despite its discontinuation, the bike remains popular for its durability and fuel efficiency. I believe the Boxers legacy continues to influence new bike designs and it would be great to see it back on the market.
Tuesday, 07 February 2012 04:27 AM Bajaj Auto relaunched the Boxer in a 150cc avatar, but it did not achieve the expected sales. The lack of effective rural marketing and the decision to start with a 150cc engine instead of a 100cc one are cited as reasons for the lower sales. I think a stronger marketing campaign and a more strategic engine choice could have made a big difference.
Tuesday, 07 February 2012 12:02 AM The old Bajaj Boxer model had a 100 cc air-cooled engine producing 7.02 HP, a 4-gear gearbox, and a fuel tank capacity of 9.30 liters. It was known for its good mileage of about 50 kmpl and low maintenance costs. I believe these specs made it a reliable choice for daily commuting, especially on rough roads.
