So why do people still continue to buy the Vios even if it’s not really that good looking and doesn’t have that much features?
31 December 2024 07:24
In many Asian countries it's a cultural thing. The car is regarded more as a practical tool, or even dispassionately, as a nonstatus statement or, at best, a source of driving pleasure. The Vios is just that, a car that does the job without any fuss.
But is this good first car life with the Vios for new drivers or other options are better?
31 December 2024 07:24
I think new drivers would have more benefit from a car with advance safety features such as autonomous emergency braking but the Vios is okay. These technologies can be a real lifesaver for inexperienced drivers, and many newer, similarly priced cars offer them.
How is Vios ownership experience over the long term compared to Honda City?
31 December 2024 07:24
Never underestimate the importance of after sales service. Honda service center is much better than Toyota in my city. It makes a big difference when you are dealing with regular maintenance over many years.
Is the Vellfire a smart choice for politicians and executives?
31 December 2024 07:15
It's perfect for politicians. It’s very luxurious, but not flashy, so it wouldn’t attract bad attention in sensitive circles like voters.
How does the Vellffire stack up against luxury sedans in backseat comfort?
31 December 2024 07:15
It depends on your height. There will be no doubt that the Vellfire's headroom and legroom will be preferred by tall people.
Is the Vellfire something that makes sense as a self drive vehicle, or is it best enjoyed as a chauffeur driven car?
31 December 2024 07:15
I actually enjoy driving it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not sporty, but it is smooth, and the high seating position is great.
Is the Toyota Vellfire value for money?
31 December 2024 07:15
In India, I think it is overpriced because of import taxes. It’s much more reasonably priced and quite popular in other Asian countries.
Is the Vell's boxy design a plus or a minus?
31 December 2024 07:15
I believe it looks like a refrigerator on wheels that’s overpriced. That’s not very appealing for a luxury vehicle.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's 308 liter boot space enough for a small family?
31 December 2024 07:09
With the low loading lip, you don’t have to be a contortionist to get stuff in and out, which is more or less compensation for the lack of capacity.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's fuel efficiency claims realistic in the real world?
31 December 2024 07:09
Those numbers are not going to be happening in real world driving. On the 1.0L turbo, I am getting an average of 14-15 kmpl in mixed conditions.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Fronx?
31 December 2024 07:09
That's just a rebadge, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. You get Toyota's reliability reputation with Maruti's proven mechanicals.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's 1.0L turbo engine all it's cracked up to be?
31 December 2024 07:09
The turbo definitely spices things up a bit, but I have my doubts about long term reliability compared to the good old 1.2L.
Is Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's 360 degree camera a gimmick or actually useful?
31 December 2024 07:09
I love it as someone who isn't good at parking. It’s given me so much more confidence in tight spaces.
How does Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder stack up in terms of build quality to its Korean rivals?
31 December 2024 07:04
I disagree. Hyundai and Kia have really stepped up their game with the new models. Inside the Creta feels more premium than the Hyryder.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder's AWD option a true off roader?
31 December 2024 07:04
Not even close. Slippery conditions are where the AWD proves useful, but without proper off road tech and ground clearance this isn't a serious trail vehicle.
How does the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s infotainment system compare to the competition?
31 December 2024 07:04
Even in the base model, the sound quality is surprisingly good. Some of the UI shortcomings are made up for by that.
Does the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder compromise its rear seat comfort compared to the competition?
31 December 2024 07:04
The reclining rear seats are something I love. A feature you don’t often find in this segment and one that makes a world of difference on long trips.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s hybrid system: Is it worth the extra cost?
31 December 2024 07:04
It depends on your usage. If you’re going to be mostly highway driving, the mild hybrid might be a better value. In stop and go traffic, the strong hybrid is a shining star.
What will be the Urban Cruiser EV's market position with its price?
31 December 2024 06:59
We need the price low enough to overcome the first gen Toyota EV concerns some people have, but high enough to get a profit. An incentive is required to get early adopters to take the risk.
Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV just another compliance car?
31 December 2024 06:59
It's a smart move, actually. They are testing the waters with the least amount of risk. It’s just a side project if it fails. If it works, they can say they were in the game from the start.
