Is the Vellfire something that makes sense as a self drive vehicle, or is it best enjoyed as a chauffeur driven car?
Toyota Vellfires are seen as chauffeur driven luxury vehicles, but some owners like to drive it themselves. It has resulted in discussions about whether the Vellfire is as enjoyable as a self drive car. Among these being debated are driving dynamics, how it feels to operate in city traffic (especially its parking challenges), and how it feels to drive compared to other luxury vehicles. Some people say that the Vellfire's comfort features are best enjoyed from the back seat, while others note that the car's modern features, and good visibility make it a pleasant car to drive. It also goes into cultural elements, as in some markets luxury vans are viewed primarily as chauffeur driven vehicles and in others as family cars driven by owners.

It's easy to drive, but you don't get to make use of the best of the car, its business class rear seats.

If you’re spending that much why not drive yourself? If it’s a hassle, let a chauffeur handle the traffic stress.

For its size, the Vellfire is surprisingly easy to drive. Most of the time, I prefer to drive mine.

It's versatile. It's great to drive on long trips with family but just as good to drive in for work.

It makes no sense to drive it yourself. If you are buying a Vellfire, you should have a driver.

I actually enjoy driving it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not sporty, but it is smooth, and the high seating position is great.

It’s definitely best as a chauffeur driven car. The whole point is to enjoy the amazing rear seats.
