Is the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's 308 liter boot space enough for a small family?

The boot space of 308 liters though is decent for a segment it belongs to but nothing special. Boot space is a vital element in the decision making process, as it is one of the main points which will sway many potential buyers, particularly small families. At issue is whether this much cargo room is enough to get groceries, run errands on the weekend, or haul baby gear. Some say its shape and low loading lip render it more practical than the numbers would suggest, while others say it's too cramped for anything more than basic daily use. The discussion often extends to how the Taisor's boot compares to its competitors and whether the 60:The limited trunk space is more than made up for by the 40 split rear seats. With this question, I am trying to explore real world experiences and opinions of how the Taisor boot space meets small family needs or is it a big compromise.

With the low loading lip, you don’t have to be a contortionist to get stuff in and out, which is more or less compensation for the lack of capacity.

A couple can do it, but I wouldn't do it as a family with kids. You’ll always want more space.

It was not enough for our requirements. It is frustrating when you always have to choose between passengers and luggage.

The seats split 60:40 are a lifesaver. When we need extra space we fold down one side and it works great.

What do you expect? It's a compact SUV. You should be looking at a bigger segment if you need more space.

I think it's plenty. It is more usable than some competitors with slightly larger capacities, thanks to its shape.

It wouldn’t be a struggle to fit a stroller and other baby gear inside, but the 308 liters are fine for the daily use.

It's tight, but manageable. It's worked for our family of four, but longer trips require some creative packing.
