How much can the Jaunty L be customized to personal preferences?
17 January 2025 09:04
If you’re willing to get creative, it’s a great platform for DIY upgrades. I’ve also beefed up the controller and added a custom battery pack. It's a rocket now!
Is the hype around the Amo Mobility Jaunty L deserved?
17 January 2025 09:04
I was a little skeptical at first, but after test riding one I'm impressed. It's surprisingly good on the ride quality and feels well built. Definitely worth considering.
What is the wet weather handling of the Jaunty L like?
17 January 2025 09:04
There have been a few scary moments in the wet. It can feel a little bit squirrely on the front wheel. It's doable but it's definitely something you need to pay attention to.
Can you swap the Jaunty L’s battery for a longer trip?
17 January 2025 09:04
The battery is buried deep in the frame, forget it. Maybe you’re better off just planning your trips within the standard range, or checking out a different model.
I’ve been regular using the Jaunty S for one year, how is the battery life?
17 January 2025 09:02
So far my battery life has been great! I believe that’s because I am careful not to overcharge and to keep the batteries away from extreme temperatures.
As a small business or gig worker delivery vehicle, how does the Jaunty S fare?
17 January 2025 09:02
I’ve been using mine for food delivery part time. The limited speed is an issue for timed deliveries, but it’s great for short trips.
How does the Jaunty S perform in the wet compared to traditional scooters?
17 January 2025 09:02
In moderate rain I've had no issues but I'm always extra cautious. It actually helps control with the regenerative braking.
Is the Jaunty S frustrating slow at 25 km/h top speed?
17 January 2025 09:02
I guess it's safer when you're crowded. This limited speed allows me more time to react to pedestrians or any obstacles on the bike path.
Is the hype for the Amo Mobility Jaunty S justified for urban commuting?
17 January 2025 09:02
I’m a daily commuter and it’s fantastic. Traffic jams and parking headaches are a thing of the past. Zip through the city stress free.
Can the Amo Mobility Brisk make daily long distance commutes?
17 January 2025 08:58
I’ve learned the trick to using the Brisk for longer commutes is to manage the battery properly. I’ve learned to ride more efficiently – less aggressive acceleration, keeping a steady speed, using regenerative braking when possible – and I charge it every night without fail. These habits allow me to easily deal with my 18km commute each way.
How expensive is the Amo Mobility Brisk compared to gas powered scooters and how convenient are they?
17 January 2025 08:58
Whether the convenience factor is good or bad really depends on your lifestyle. If you have a garage or somewhere to charge overnight, the Brisk is super convenient. And if you live in an apartment where charging is difficult or impossible, a gas scooter might actually be more practical. It's not one-size-fits-all.
Is the Amo Mobility Brisk the hype or bust for urban commuters?
17 January 2025 08:58
I actually really like it, more than I thought I would. I do not know how long I will have this unit, but I was skeptical about the price and so far, it has been reliable. It’s small enough to store in my small apartment, and packs enough juice to get me to work and back. It’s not a fancy ride, but it does what it says.
In wet conditions how the Amo Mobility Brisk performs?
17 January 2025 08:58
I've run the Brisk through a rainy season, and although it's not perfect, it's usable. The solution is simple: maintain it, by wiping it down after wet rides, lubrication of moving parts, and checks of the electrical connections. As long as you take care, it will handle moderate wet conditions just fine.
In extreme Indian summer heat, how does the Amo Mobility Feisty EV fare?
17 January 2025 08:53
I’ve ridden a few e scooters and I’d put the Feisty EV in the middle of the pack in terms of heat performance. A bummer is that it doesn’t have active cooling for the battery. The motor appears to be robust enough to tolerate high temperatures. My tip: Therefore, try to charge it during cooler hours to get maximum battery life and performance.
What is the Amo Mobility Feisty EV like to drive in monsoon conditions?
17 January 2025 08:53
I’ve ridden both electric and petrol scooters in the rain and, from someone who has, the Feisty EV doesn’t do too badly. In fact, the instant torque of the electric motor actually helps in tricky situations. But I don't like not having the option to manually pump fuel for emergencies like you can't do with a sealed battery.
Is the Amo Mobility Feisty EV really all that it’s made out to be?
17 January 2025 08:52
In fact, I’ve been riding the Feisty EV for about three months and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. In traffic, the speed control switch is pretty handy, but the side stand sensor is finicky sometimes. Range wise, I’m getting about 65-70 km on a full charge which is decent but not what they advertise about 75-100 km.
What is the social stigma of the Jaunty-3W compared to traditional mobility scooters?
17 January 2025 08:48
I feel less self conscious riding it than my old scooter as a Jaunty 3W user. It’s really a fun gadget, not a medical device.
Could the Jaunty-3W launch a new category of 'micro-mobility' vehicles for urban transportation?
17 January 2025 08:48
I'm worried about safety. How would these mix with regular traffic? We'd need to change our infrastructure on a major scale.
Would the Jaunty-3W transform last mile delivery in India?
17 January 2025 08:48
I think that’s a great idea but safety is a concern. How visible is it to other vehicles in the day and especially at night?
Is it a boon or a safety hazard that the Jaunty-3W is no license required?
17 January 2025 08:48
I think it's irresponsible. Although these vehicles may not go fast, they can do harm when not operated properly even at low speeds.
