Is the Jaunty S frustrating slow at 25 km/h top speed?
Like many electric scooters in India, the Jaunty S is restricted to a top speed of 25 km/h to meet regulations enabling it to be ridden without a licence. This might be enough for urban areas, but some users have been frustrated while trying to keep up with traffic flow on wider roads or crossing intersections. But others say that the speed limit actually makes for a safer, more relaxing riding experience. Some riders are also wondering if they are tempted to modify their scooters to go around the speed limiter. So, let’s talk about how that 25 km/h limit makes it less usable in a day to day basis and if that’s even a deal breaker for potential buyers.
Certainly annoying on some roads but I'm used to it. I just let people pass, I just stick to the side.
