The XSR300 may bring young riders into the family of classic motorcycle enthusiasts and expand the market.
23 January 2025 04:18
I doubt it. People who buy the XSR300 for their first motorcycle will most likely stay with modern bikes throughout their riding careers. People mostly care about how it looks regardless of its classic origins.
Will the XSR300 start a new rivalry between Japanese motorcycle firms for sportbikes under 300cc?
23 January 2025 04:18
When this occurs, I want them to introduce unique bike types instead of making retro designs. Please offer motorcycle choices beyond the regular lineup by introducing a small adventure model and a modern cafe racer.
What changes will the XSR300 bring to custom motorcycle transformation?
23 January 2025 04:18
The platform will produce many scrambler and cafe racer builds that builders will enjoy creating. The trend will likely fade away since people won't find new ways to personalize it fast enough.
Does the Yamaha XSR300 earn its place as a successor to the RD350 heritage?
23 January 2025 04:18
The important thing is whether the XSR300 can stand on its own instead of following the RD350 legacy. It should exist on its own terms without needing to reach epic RD350 levels. I want to see things evaluated without constant reference to past times.
How does cafe racer styling on the XSR300 affect its performance compared to the MT-03?
23 January 2025 04:18
The cafe racer design could make the bike travel faster through the air. The lower handlebars push riders into a tighter riding position, which helps them accelerate better through straight sections.
Will the 2025 Bolero finally have the option of automatic transmission?
22 January 2025 12:34
An auto Bolero could actually be great for fleet operators. It makes it easier for multiple drivers to use without having to worry about clutch wear.
Should Mahindra be offering an electric version of the Bolero in 2025?
22 January 2025 12:34
An electric Bolero? In other words, it's like putting an arc reactor in a bullock cart. A cool idea but absolutely impractical for its intended market.
Is the 2025 Bolero still up to the task in the current SUV market?
22 January 2025 12:34
It may surprise us with the 2025 update. The question is if Mahindra can modernize it, but without sacrificing its core DNA it could be a hit with both old and new buyers.
Will the 2025 Bolero finally get modern safety features?
22 January 2025 12:34
I doubt they will add much more than what is needed to fill the regulations, but I don't think they will even come close to fancy. That's still supposed to be a budget workhorse.
Do the 2025 Bolero has the features compared to the compact SUVs?
22 January 2025 12:34
If you are aware of Mahindra’s recent launches, they might surprise us by launching a feature packed Bolero without losing its ruggedness.
Would you daily drive a New Bolero in the city?
22 January 2025 12:28
But only if I had a really short commute I would. Although it's not the most fuel efficient option for long city drives, the ruggedness of it could be an advantage for short trips.
Should Mahindra bring a 4x4 version of the New Bolero?
22 January 2025 12:28
No Nah, that's not the point of the Bolero. It's supposed to be simple and reliable. A workhorse. 4x4 is simply a jack up of the price and would make it less accessible to its core market.
Is the fact that the New Bolero lacks modern safety features a deal breaker?
22 January 2025 12:28
I don’t think it’s a deal breaker for rural buyers, but it’s for urban ones. Those safety features are what you need in the city. Toughness is the safety feature of the Bolero in rural areas.
Could the New Bolero be a cult classic like the Maruti Gypsy?
22 January 2025 12:28
But Mahindra could, and needs to, embrace its utilitarian image. Let’s make it a bit more bare bones, focus on its go anywhere ability. Then it might capture that Gypsy magic.
Is the Mahindra New Bolero still a relevant SUV purchase in 2016?
22 January 2025 12:28
I believe it's still relevant, but Mahindra needs to step up their game. I add some basic modern features without compromising on the Bolero's core strengths. They’ve got potential, but they’re not entirely utilizing them.
What will be the role of the Avinya X in Tata’s relationship with JLR?
22 January 2025 11:20
I think it's a win-win. JLR gets to leverage Tata's expertise in the emerging and price sensitive Indian market, while Tata gets to leverage JLR's premium expertise and a testbed for new EV tech.
Will the design of the Tata Avinya X transfer from concept to production?
22 January 2025 11:20
The real question is whether they can keep the design, and still price it competitively. If that means more people can afford it, I’d prefer the slightly toned down design.
Can Avinya X really deliver on the promised 500+ km range in real world?
22 January 2025 11:20
I really think they are going to do it. Tata has been pouring money into battery tech, and if they didn't have the goods to back that claim up, they wouldn't be making it.
Is Tata's premium positioning of the Avinya X a smart move?
22 January 2025 11:20
I think it's brilliant. Tata is the perfect opportunity to reposition itself in the EV market. If they can pull off the Avinya X, it can completely redefine what people think of the whole brand.
Is the Tata Avinya X a Tesla killer?
22 January 2025 11:20
Don't underestimate Tata. But they’ve been killing it with EVs lately and the Avinya X looks seriously impressive. It may not be a global Tesla killer, but it can certainly be a 'Tesla killer' in the Indian market.
