Do the 2025 Bolero has the features compared to the compact SUVs?

In the last few years, the compact SUV segment in India has seen a huge rise with cars featuring everything from touchscreen infotainment systems, connected car technology, sunroof and so on. More and more, these features are becoming important to buyers, particularly younger consumers. The Bolero has always been a utilitarian approach and light on such amenities. With Mahindra getting ready to update the Bolero for 2025, there is interest in whether they will attempt to match the feature list of compact SUVs or remain true to their no frills formula. This question explores how the Bolero balance the company’s identity and the modern consumer’s expectations.

Mahindra cannot add too many features or it will become another cookie cutter SUV. What the Bolero has going for it is its simplicity.

At the very least, they need to add at least a decent infotainment system and maybe automatic climate control. Basic stuff for 2025.

Missing the point is competing on features. It’s not about fancy gadgets, it’s about durability and practicality.

Hopefully they don't go overboard. Better AC and a simple, reliable touchscreen would be enough. Keep it functional!

The right features for the right audience, not matching feature lists. What matters for its use case.

Younger buyers won't even consider it if they don't update the features. Mahindra has to find the middle.

If you are aware of Mahindra’s recent launches, they might surprise us by launching a feature packed Bolero without losing its ruggedness.
