The bike's riding experience and appearance matter most, so we should not feel obligated to follow the standards of vintage bikes. New technology features and improved dependability create reasons to celebrate this bike.

A successful product requires Yamaha to create an excellent riding experience. It's not about meeting technical aspects because Yamaha needs to create excitement rather than replicate a feeling.

The RD350 will forever remain the top bike in its category. Despite being an excellent bike, the XSR300 lacks the wild and defiant essence of its predecessors.

The important thing is whether the XSR300 can stand on its own instead of following the RD350 legacy. It should exist on its own terms without needing to reach epic RD350 levels. I want to see things evaluated without constant reference to past times.

I am excited about the XSR300 as someone who once owned an RD350. This new model will introduce Yamaha's history of performance excellence to a fresh generation of riders.

It is not right to judge both products against each other. The XSR300 exists to bring a contemporary design to classic Yamaha roots rather than aiming to replicate the RD350. We should evaluate it based on what it is today.

No way, man. The RD350 stood strong during its era of production. No modern four-stroke engine can duplicate the unique power delivery and aromas of two-strokes.
