Bold and futuristic is how the Tata Avinya X concept unveiled at Auto Expo 2025 has turned heads. The silhouette is sleek, the lighting elements are unique, the interior looks like it’s right from a Sci FI movie. But concept cars tend to change a lot before production, and they often lose their most striking features along the way. The worry is whether Tata can keep the wow factor of the Avinya X in line with safety regulations, manufacturing constraints and cost implications. There are those that claim Tata has a history of diluting designs, and others that say recent models have been faithful to their concept showings. The debate revolves around whether Indian consumers are ready for a radical design in a premium vehicle. So let's take a look at what car enthusiasts think of Avinya X's chances of holding on to its concept car charm.

No chance. Tata always waters down their designs. Remember the Sierra concept? It will probably be a little fancier Nexon in the production version.
