The i20's rear seat comfort is a strong point, how does it stack up with hatchbacks and compact SUVs?
02 January 2025 10:45
Though there's not as much rear space as you'd get from one of Hyundai's bigger cars (like the Venue), I find the i20's seats are comfier than most in any hatchback.
Is the Hyundai i20 really overpriced?
02 January 2025 10:45
I think it is priced right for what you get. In terms of quality, features and a credible after sales service network, Hyundai's price tag is justified. It’s not just about the specs on paper.
How does the i20 stack up against rivals when it comes to high speed stability?
02 January 2025 10:45
I'd say it's above average. It's not sports car level comfortable, but certainly a comfortable long highway trip companion. The balance is good in the setup of the suspension.
Does the i20’s infotainment system actually work, or is it just pretty?
02 January 2025 10:45
It’s not really about anything. In daily use simpler systems, such as in the Swift, are easier to use, but they look good in the showroom.
Is the i20's sunroof really useful or is it just a gimmick?
02 January 2025 10:45
For me, it's a must-have. Ventilation of the car is quick and the overall experience is good. And it’s a good selling point if you ever want to resell.
In city traffic, how does the Grand i10 Nios AMT fare against manual?
02 January 2025 10:34
Stick with manual. It’s annoying how long the AMT lag is and you lose that connected feeling with the car. Plus, it's cheaper!
Is the Grand i10 Nios underpowered on highways?
02 January 2025 10:34
For occasional highway trips, it’s fine, but if you’re a regular highway driver, you may want something with a little more power.
What is the Grand i10 Nios' infotainment system really like?
02 January 2025 10:34
It's a mixed bag. The execution is hit or miss, but great features. Not still as good as competitors, but still better than most.
Is the Grand i10 Nios reliable in the long run?
02 January 2025 10:34
It all depends on how you keep it. Just follow the service schedule and it will run forever. If you neglect it, you will have problems.
Is the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios a better buy than safer alternatives?
02 January 2025 10:34
Absolutely! The Nios is a great general purpose architecture. It doesn't speak for itself in safety ratings, but it's got good features and Hyundai's reliability is top notch.
Against other automatic options in its segment, how does the Exter's AMT fare?
02 January 2025 10:30
It’s a good compromise for folks who want the convenience of an automatic but don’t want to break the bank. Don’t expect it to be super sporty, though.
Does the Exter's unique design help or hinder it?
02 January 2025 10:30
That's because it looks like a mini Venue, and that's not a bad thing. I think it will age better than some of the more radical designs that are out there.
Is the Exter a better bet than more established rivals, such as the Tata Punch?
02 January 2025 10:30
They are both good cars, but the Exter feels more modern and car like. That's largely dependent on whether you want a mini-SUV feel or something a little more traditional.
What kind of features and technology does the Exter have that future proof it?
02 January 2025 10:30
I'm less worried about the short term, but I'm more concerned with the long term reliability of all these electronic features. The more tech you have, the more things that can go wrong.
Is the Hyundai Exter really an SUV or just a tall hatchback?
02 January 2025 10:30
I'd say it's an SUV. What people want in an SUV is the higher seating position and ground clearance it has. Not all SUVs need to be an enormous off roader.
What do you get for the additional cost of the Hyundai Elantra's tech package?
02 January 2025 10:24
I believe it depends upon how long you want to have the car. If it's a lease or you're looking to sell in a couple years the tech package may help with resale value. I would definitely be worried about repair costs on this thing after it's out of warrenty for long-term ownership.
How is CVT transmission in the Elantra different from automatics?
02 January 2025 10:24
I think Hyundai's IVT is definitely better than some other CVTs I've driven. In automatic mode, it simulates shift points to give you a feeling that it’s more like a regular automatic. It's a good compromise.
Is the Elantra's bold styling passé, or will it soon look dated?
02 January 2025 10:24
The Elantra’s design is going to age like fine wine, I think. It's so distinctive, it'll likely become iconic for this era of car design. Bold moves like this tend to do.
How much of a budget sports sedan is the Elantra N Line? Or is it just clever marketing?
02 January 2025 10:24
For people who want something sportier but aren’t willing to pay for or justify the impracticality of a full on performance car, it’s a good entry point. It’s a 'sports sedan lite' kinda thing.
Are people just lying about the Hyundai Elantra's reliability?
02 January 2025 10:24
I've owned both a Toyota and a Hyundai and honestly the Elantra has been as reliable as my old Corolla. A lot of it, I think, is to do with how well you maintain the car. Regular oil changes and maintaining the schedule are a long way.
