The Sunny is pretty bullet proof in my experience. I've seen these things on the road running as taxis with over 300,000 km on the clock and still going.

Reliability is fine, but the Sunny’s resale value lags far behind its competition. Something to keep in mind for long term ownership.

The interior materials don't hold up very well over time and it's reliable enough, but not as much so as the original. After a few years expect lots of rattles and worn out bits.
Is the Nissan Sunny a 'boring' car, or is there more to it than meets the eye?

Boring? Maybe. But sometimes boring is good. There's no fuss about it, it's a reliable, no nonsense car that gets you from A to B. Not all daily drivers need to be exciting.

Nah, it's pretty boring. That’s fine, but let’s not act like it’s something it’s not. It is, quite simply, a appliance on wheels.
