Why do most people opt for the Nissan Sunny as their first car?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
The Nissan Sunny appears to be a popular first car for people in countries such as India and the Middle East. New drivers are attracted to what is it about this particular model? What is it about affordability, ease of maintenance or something else? So, what makes the Sunny popular among novice drivers? Which features make it more beginner friendly than other cars in its class? Or maybe it’s just that it’s easy and dealerships are pushing it. It might be interesting to understand why so many people choose the Sunny as their first car.

The truth is that most people select it because it is what the dealership is selling. The car isn't good, it's sales tactics.

For its price point, the safety features are decent, and that’s probably what new drivers (or their parents) looking to prevent accidents want to see.

I’d say it’s not a great first car. Because it's so underpowered, it doesn't teach good driving habits. New drivers need to learn in something with a little more oomph.

It’s not just a first car thing. Because of its fuel efficiency and low running costs, the Sunny is also popular with ride sharing drivers.

One of the big selling points is the spacious interior. For new drivers who want to be able to carry friends and family comfortably, the Sunny delivers.

I believe it’s more about availability than choice. It's one of the cheapest new cars you can get in many places and so people just go for it without thinking about alternatives.

The Sunny is cheap, reliable and easy to drive. Ideal for someone who’s just beginning and doesn’t want to stress about intricate maintenance or high costs.
