Are the Kia Venga's window motor problems a deal breaker?
06 January 2025 07:37
Every budget friendly car will have some issues, but it's not ideal. At least with the Venga, you can't be surprised. It’s better to deal with a known issue than a surprise problem.
Are the Kia Venga's window motor problems a deal breaker?
06 January 2025 07:37
I think that it's a bigger deal than some people make it out to be. Yes, it’s not an engine failure, but I’d go mad having to deal with finicky windows every day. Little things can really make a difference in your day to day driving.
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
Absolutely! The seating is high so you can see and be comfortable. That’s preferable to fake rugged styling. Why pretend most SUVs never see dirt in the first place?
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
No way. The Venga still looks like a dorky minivan, but the high seating is nice. Crossovers at least try to look cool, even if they’re just as practical.
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
It's a trade-off. The benefits of high seating without the bulk and poor fuel economy of an SUV. I think it’s a smart compromise for city driving.
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
In fact, I like the Venga's honest design. It's not saying it's trying to be something it's not. Unlike those plastic body claddings on crossovers, the high seating is genuinely useful.

The Venga’s easy access is much more important than looking tough for older drivers or those with mobility issues. That's a car that puts function first and it is refreshing.
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
I do not know, it depends on priorities. If you want SUV image and status, Venga won't do. It’s spot on if you just want the practical benefits.
Does the Kia Venga make up for its lack of SUV styling with its high seating position?
06 January 2025 07:37
I don’t mind the lack of SUV styling. It's more aerodynamic and more efficient. You get the perks of the visibility without the fuel economy penalty of the SUV.
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?

I love the simplicity! Less things to go wrong and less distraction while driving. Modern cars with massive touchscreens are smartphone on wheels.

It's definitely a drawback. I want my Apple CarPlay and adaptive cruise control. Stepping back in time is the Venga.
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?
06 January 2025 07:37
For me, it's a huge plus. I’m sick of cars that seem a decade behind the times. In its simplicity the Venga is timeless.
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?
06 January 2025 07:37
I'm torn. I find the reliability aspect attractive, but I don’t want to be dependent on something that doesn’t offer greater safety features like automatic emergency braking.
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?
06 January 2025 07:37
For a non techy person like me, the Venga is easy to use. You don’t have to dig through menus to change the radio station!
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?
06 January 2025 07:37
Definitely a reliability bonus. My friend's new car is in the shop all the time with electrical gremlins. My old school Venga however, chugs on.
Is it a drawback or a reliability bonus that the Kia Venga lacks modern tech features?
06 January 2025 07:37
It depends on how long you want to keep the car I think. The Venga is great if you want a long term, low maintenance option. If you like to change cars every couple years, you may feel as though you're missing out.
Is the ground clearance of the Kia Syros a deal breaker on Indian roads?
06 January 2025 07:32
For city use, ground clearance is overrated. Such clearance is not really needed on most urban roads. For its target audience, the Syros should be fine.
Is the ground clearance of the Kia Syros a deal breaker on Indian roads?
06 January 2025 07:32
Are you kidding? India requires ground clearance. With one bad road or big speed breaker, you’re scraping the bottom. It's a deal-breaker for me.
Is the ground clearance of the Kia Syros a deal breaker on Indian roads?

Until the official specs come out, I think we should wait to judge. Kia is not stupid, they know the Indian market. It will be competitive clearance, I bet.

It may even be a bit lower, but if it works, the practicality might be worth it. I prefer more interior space and being a little more careful over speed bumps.
