Is the Kia Seltos really that good or have they just been good at marketing?
Since the launch, the Kia Seltos has been generating a lot of buzz in the compact SUV market with its sleek look and feature laden options. Some car enthusiasts argue that it's more style than substance, however. The question on the table is whether the Seltos lives up to its claims or it's simply benefiting from heavy promotion and initial hype. The big issue with the 2018 Dodge Challenger remains whether you want the best, a premium feel and entertainer that is competitively priced with its class, or one of the best interpretation of an older machine, with average safety ratings and potentially a stiff ride quality. Most discussions revolve around how it compares to incumbents in the segment, and if its popularity is warranted, given its actual performance and value proposition.

Tech lovers are in for the hype. The Seltos is a dream if you’re into gadgets and features. If you want driving dynamics or safety, there are better options out there.

I’m impressed as a person who changed a much more expensive German car. Premium without the premium price tag, the Seltos feels premium. Mostly it delivers on most fronts, it's not just hype.

It's a bit of both. Kia’s marketing game is strong, but the Seltos does offer a lot of features. I don't think that it's a bad car, but maybe it's not quite as revolutionary as they say.

Clever marketing for sure. I tried one out for a test drive and was underwhelmed. The car felt stiff and the safety ratings are a joke for a car at this price. You’re buying bells and whistles and not substance.

It's been a year since I have owned my Seltos and honestly, it has been pretty great. You get the features for the price, and it’s hard to beat. It’s not perfect but for a daily driver it ticks most boxes.
