USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Yamaha RXZ 135 is a nostalgic gem that still holds a special place in the hearts of many motorcycle enthusiasts in India. This 2-stroke bike is known for its unique sound, agile handling, and the thrill it offers, especially for those who grew up riding these machines. However, its performance and features are somewhat dated compared to modern motorcycles. The bikes lightweight and nimble nature make it a joy to maneuver, especially in urban settings, but the lack of modern safety features like front disc brakes (in the standard model) and the high maintenance requirements due to its 2-stroke engine are significant drawbacks. For collectors or those seeking a retro riding experience, the RXZ 135 is a great choice, but for daily commuting or long-distance riding, it may not be the most practical option.
Price
The Yamaha RXZ 135 is no longer in production, which means you wont find it in showrooms. However, if youre looking to purchase a used model, prices can vary widely depending on the condition, year, and location. On average, a well-maintained RXZ 135 from the late 1990s to early 2000s can cost anywhere between 50,000 to 1,20,000. This price range reflects the bikes condition, any modifications or upgrades, and the sellers asking price. Given its collectible status, prices can fluctuate, and its not uncommon for enthusiasts to pay a premium for a pristine example.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 04:48 AM The mileage of the Yamaha RXZ 135 is a concern for many potential buyers. This 2-stroke bike typically offers a mileage of around 35-40 kilometers per liter, depending on riding conditions and the riders style. While this is not as efficient as modern 4-stroke engines, the RXZ 135s performance and the unique riding experience it provides often outweigh the mileage concerns for enthusiasts. However, for those prioritizing fuel efficiency, this bike might not be the best choice.

Too much noise

This bike is a classic in the Yamaha 135cc segment, and it is well known for its powerful engine. The mileage of the bike is quite low, ranging from 45-50 kmpl in normal road conditions, and up to 55 kmpl on highways. The bike is quite heavy and requires a lot of maintenance, which can be expensive. The looks of the bike are not very attractive, and it produces a lot of noise and smoke from the silencer. It is not a very comfortable bike to ride.

Starting the bike in cold weather can be a real challenge

RX135 is a street bike that has been around for quite a while and still packs a punch. Its power is unbeatable compared to other bikes in the 125-150cc range. It's a thrill to ride it, especially in the summertime. However, starting the bike in cold weather can be a real challenge. Also, since the bike is so old, finding spare parts can be difficult. Despite this, the bike runs well and it's a great experience to cruise around on a 20-25 year old machine.

Riding the RX135 was a thrilling experience

Piyush Pahadiya Khatik | 2 years ago

Riding the RX135 was a thrilling experience. The pick up was great and the exhaust note was definitely unique. Even though the bike is no longer in production, it still has a large fan base. The RX135 had great predecessors and successors such as the RX100 and RXZ, but none of them could match the excitement of riding the wild horse.

The mileage of the RX135 was not that great, but it all depends on the rider and the way they ride the bike. The stability of the RX135 at high speeds was good, but it could get a bit shaky when faced with strong cross winds.

Overall, my experience with the RX135 was great and I highly recommend others to experience it for themselves.
