The 98cc motorcycle was good for 11 BHP and 10.39 Nm of torque while weighs just 103 kg. It claimed a top speed of 100 kmph while was quite unsafe because of just drum brakes at both ends. It was discontinued due to change in emission norms, as RX 100 was a 2-stroke motorcycle. As of now, Yamaha has no plans to re-launch the RX 100 in India, and you can only buy it from used bike market or from online portals like OLX and Quickr.

Too much noise

Prem Shankar Baghel | 2 years ago

This bike is a classic in the Yamaha 135cc segment, and it is well known for its powerful engine. The mileage of the bike is quite low, ranging from 45-50 kmpl in normal road conditions, and up to 55 kmpl on highways. The bike is quite heavy and requires a lot of maintenance, which can be expensive. The looks of the bike are not very attractive, and it produces a lot of noise and smoke from the silencer. It is not a very comfortable bike to ride.

Starting the bike in cold weather can be a real challenge

RX135 is a street bike that has been around for quite a while and still packs a punch. Its power is unbeatable compared to other bikes in the 125-150cc range. It's a thrill to ride it, especially in the summertime. However, starting the bike in cold weather can be a real challenge. Also, since the bike is so old, finding spare parts can be difficult. Despite this, the bike runs well and it's a great experience to cruise around on a 20-25 year old machine.

Riding the RX135 was a thrilling experience

Piyush Pahadiya Khatik | 2 years ago

Riding the RX135 was a thrilling experience. The pick up was great and the exhaust note was definitely unique. Even though the bike is no longer in production, it still has a large fan base. The RX135 had great predecessors and successors such as the RX100 and RXZ, but none of them could match the excitement of riding the wild horse.

The mileage of the RX135 was not that great, but it all depends on the rider and the way they ride the bike. The stability of the RX135 at high speeds was good, but it could get a bit shaky when faced with strong cross winds.

Overall, my experience with the RX135 was great and I highly recommend others to experience it for themselves.
