Friday, 17 January 2025 03:28 AM Yamahas decision to showcase the Lander 250 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 indicates the brands serious intent to capture the Indian ADV market. Thursday, 16 January 2025 08:54 AM Yamaha India is set to re-enter the 250 cc segment with the Lander 250, which will also mark the brands entry into the ADV market in India. The bike is powered by the same engine as the Yamaha FZ25, which was previously manufactured in India, helping to keep costs in check. Thursday, 16 January 2025 12:40 AM The Yamaha Lander 250 is expected to face competition from other dual-purpose motorcycles in the Indian market, particularly the Hero XPulse 210. However, its unique styling, robust suspension, and modern features could give it an edge. The bikes high seat height might be a challenge, but overall, it seems well-prepared to take on the competition.
Thursday, 16 January 2025 07:19 AM Yamaha has emphasized the Lander 250s off-road capabilities, with features like wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tires. The bikes ground clearance and suspension travel are designed to handle rough terrains, making it a great option for adventure riders. MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW
Vehicle Overview Yamaha Lander XTZ 250 is a quarter liter off-road motorcycle that comes with a ground clearance of 275 mm. It seems more effective than a typical SUV in terms of its clearance, saving the same from rocks and others obstacles in its way. The 249.45cc, single cylinder engine is good for 20.7 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20.49 Nm at 6500 rpm. It weighs just 143 kg and carries a seat height of 875 mm. It would be tough for riders with average heights to climb up to the high seat. It rivals Honda CRF250L and other off-road bikes internationally. The only Indian bike that looks close to the competition is RE Himalayan.

My Yamaha Lander XTZ 250 has never let me down on any of my amazing off-road excursions. The ground clearance and suspension travel are ideal for navigating difficult terrain. Because of the bike's small weight, navigating trails is a breeze. Even though the engine isn't the most powerful, it has more than enough power for adventurous expeditions. Longer rides are smooth and comfortable on the road. Overall, a terrific companion for the off-road adventure seeker!

I've taken my Yamaha Lander 250 XTZ on some long rides, and it's proven to be a reliable companion. The upright riding posture is comfortable for hours on the road, and the seat is surprisingly plush. However, the engine could use a bit more power for highway overtaking. The bike's suspension handles uneven roads decently, but it's not the smoothest. Still, for a small adventure tourer, it gets the job done well.

My preferred city commuter is the Yamaha Lander 250 XTZ. It is nimble and simple to control, making it ideal for navigating traffic. The digital display is clear and informative, and the upright riding position is pleasant. The bike's compactness and fuel efficiency make it ideal for urban settings. Although it does well on rare gravel roads, it is not a genuine off-road vehicle. Great for daily commuting!

The Yamaha Lander 250 XTZ has been a fantastic pick for me as a new rider. It is forgiving, lightweight, and simple to handle. Even at low speeds, the bike feels steady and the power delivery is seamless. The off-road skills are a plus because I feel more comfortable navigating some dirt routes now. It's been a great bike to learn on, although I wish it had more sophisticated features like ABS.
