User Reviews for Yamaha Alpha
Disappointed in the bike's performance
I had high expectations of the Yamaha Alpha when I bought it three months ago. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed in the bike's performance. The mileage is very poor, only giving approximately 20-25 km per litre. The engine is very loud when travelling at speeds below 40 km/h and the fuel indicator is unreliable, often showing empty even when there is still fuel in the tank. The disc brake is also not very effective. In hindsight, I should have gone for the Honda Activa instead.
Reliable family scooter with excellent mileage
Yamaha Alpha has proven itself to be a reliable family scooter with its excellent mileage of 62km/l and a good design. Its headlight, large and comfortable seat, and 21 liter storage capacity make it a great choice for those who don't want to worry about carrying extra baggage. Its engine is powered by 113cc air cooled with continuously variable transmission for smooth acceleration; it may not be the fastest scooter but it does provide a comfortable ride. Its light weight 104 kg and smooth handling make it perfect for riding in the streets and in the traffic. It also has telescopic forks and firm suspension for a safe and secure ride. All in all, Yamaha Alpha is a great choice for those who are looking for an efficient and reliable family scooter.
Vibration and fuel efficiency are major drawbacks
The Yamaha Alpha provides a stylish design, but the quality of the plastic used in the body parts is quite cheap. The engine performance is rather poor, and it is not very fuel efficient either. The ride quality and handling are decent, but there is a lot of vibration in the engine, making it difficult to ride in peace. The brakes are fairly good as well.
The main areas of improvement for the Yamaha Alpha would be the quality of the body parts, its fuel efficiency, and the engine vibration and RPM.
In conclusion, the Yamaha Alpha looks great, but its vibration and fuel efficiency are major drawbacks.
Great choice for those looking for a reliable ride
The scooter is a great choice for those looking for a reliable ride in India. It offers great mileage - up to 40 KMPL, making it one of the most fuel-efficient in its class. The superb built quality means that you can count on it to last you for many years. Plus, the engine is really smooth and gives you a great ride experience. All in all, it's one of the toughest scooters in India that you can buy.
Yamaha Alpha is a good quality product, perfect for families
The Yamaha Alpha is a decent scooter with an attractive dual tone paint scheme and smooth engine. It has good fuel economy and ample boot space, however the engine lacks power and it can be a bit slow from 0-30kmph. The handle doesn't have a brake lock, and the seat is big but not very comfortable. It handles nicely on city roads and highways below 80kmph.
Overall, the Yamaha Alpha is a good quality product, perfect for families. It could be improved with a 125cc engine to give it more power.

The scooter is an ideal choice for all age groups and provides a comfortable pillion seat. It offers excellent fuel efficiency, great pickup, and a smooth ride. It is also easy to handle, making it a great choice for beginners. The scooter also has a stylish design that appeals to all.
Yamaha Alpha is one of the most impressive bikes out there. It is a great performer with good mileage, superb built quality and an engine that runs very smoothly. The power and torque of the alpha is also very good and the bike is also very easy to maintain. It comes at a very low price point and is a great option for low and middle level families. The front and rear wheels are also very good and the suspension of the bike is also very good. The engine displacement is 113 cc and the bike starts with both self start and kick start options. The wheel size of the front and back is 10 inch. The Alpha is an ideal option for all families and even women due to its excellent features.
The Yamaha Alpha is a great bike, and I had a very positive buying experience. The wait for a fancy number registration was worth it, as I was never pressured to make an immediate purchase. I've driven the Alpha up hills and never felt uncomfortable, and the performance has been great. When compared to other scooters in its class, the Alpha may not be as stylish or have the best mileage, but it does have a long seat and a comfortable ride. The engine has also held up quite well, and I've had no issues since I service it every 10 months. The only real downsides are the mileage, style, and ground clearance.
The scooter offers good performance and mileage, allowing you to enjoy the ride without any issue. It also produces minimal engine noise while driving, making it a great choice for those who want a smooth ride. Furthermore, the scooter is well equipped with features like a comfortable seat, adjustable handlebars and good grip, ensuring an enjoyable and safe ride every time.
The Yamaha Alpha has been a great buy for me. I had a great buying experience and the pickup has been good. The riding experience has been smooth and the price is quite reasonable. It also has good storage space and the mileage is quite good. The servicing provided by the Yamaha Service Center has been good and I use it for daily purposes. Overall, it's been a great purchase and I'm really pleased with it. Yamaha has done a great job and I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!
