Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Star City Plus BS6 model is a stellar choice for those seeking a reliable and efficient commuter bike in India. My experience with this bike has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks to its smooth engine performance, comfortable ride, and practical features. The addition of an all-LED headlamp, Eco Thrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology, and a semi-digital instrument cluster enhances its appeal. While it may not excel in high-speed stability or handling dynamics, it more than makes up for it with its ease of handling, low maintenance costs, and excellent fuel efficiency. For daily commuters, this bike is a winner, offering a perfect balance of affordability, comfort, and performance.
Price
The TVS Star City Plus BS6 model is priced competitively in the Indian market, starting from 70,005 for the base variant ex-showroom in Delhi. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can range from 85,000 to 95,000, depending on the state and local taxes. Given its features, performance, and reliability, this bike offers great value for money. The pricing is well-aligned with its competitors in the 110cc commuter segment, making it an attractive option for those looking for a no-nonsense, everyday bike.
