Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has pushed the boundaries of performance and technology. The Apache RTR has been outperforming itself in the race against time. The 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V pushes the edge like never before. This time around TVS is offering the RTR 160 4V with segment-first Riding Modes and SmartXonnect. Nothing can stop you from racing under any condition. It's time to transform into Unstoppable.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition is the model in the middle of the Apache RTR 160 4V series. The sporting bike receives a new exhaust as far as mechanical upgrades go. It's called a 'Bullpup Exhaust' by TVS, and it's intended to sound better.
The special edition Apache RTR 160 4V has three riding modes: Urban, Rain, and Sport. The bike's top speed is limited to 103 km/h in Urban and Rain modes, but it can reach 114 km/h in Sport mode.
The special edition bike also includes a SmartXonnect for Bluetooth connectivity. Its instrument cluster displays all standard information. It also has a gear shift indicator and the LED headlight has been modified with a new LED Daytime Running Lamp.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V receives a significant upgrade when it comes to new functions and visual changes. It gets a revised headlight assembly with a trademark Daytime Running Lamp (DRL). The gear shift indicator and three ride modes are standard across the range (Urban, Sport, and Rain).
The Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition and its top-tier variants will be outfitted with similar tech and functions. For example, they will come with the TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity technology. The adjustable clutch and brake levers along with a Matte Black colour with red alloy wheels. And a redesigned seat pattern round out the special edition.
The special edition Apache is outfitted with a 270mm front petal disc and a 200mm rear petal disc. The twin cradle frame is supported by telescopic forks in the front and a mono-shock in the back.
The 159.7cc, single-cylinder oil-cooled four-valve engine remains in the motorcycle's mechanical specs. At 9,250rpm, this engine produces 17 horsepower and 14 Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed super-slick gearbox, resulting in a precise and powerful riding experience.
The braking system and rear tyre type distinguish the versions. The standard model has a front disc/rear drum brake setup and does not have a radial rear tyre. The mid and top models come standard with rear radial tyres and disc brakes on both wheels. Furthermore, the top-spec edition includes TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity. Telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock handle the suspension duties.

User Reviews for TVS Apache
True experience
Just after 400 kms, it does not feel the same way as it used to be before.
Best Features: Bi LED lights, suspension, dual channel ABS, looks
Pros: Great looks and good suspension
Cons: Vibrations from engine.
TVS Apache RR 310
Automatic headlights can create battery problems. It happened on my Apache 200.
Best Features: Looks & its features
Pros: Sporty Look
Cons: AHO system
I need to know the economy speed of Apache 200
It sounds impressive and I need to buy one. It takes good enough time for 100 kmph but what about the economy speed?
Best Features: Console, sound is just awesome
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
TVS Apache RTR 180 is a beast
It has the required grunt in its engine. The RTR name is perfect for the bike. The best street fighter ever.
Best Features: Design, perfect for city
Pros: Exhaust sound, throttle response
Cons: Top speed is lower than others
Stylish and Good Performer
Style: It's a beautifully crafted beast, when you just sit on the bike you feel like you are in a Race. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: It's loaded with 160CC powerful RTR engine that you can really feel it. And fuel economy is good! I have just done with 2nd service (today) and so far I have got 60kmpl riding around 55km/hr and had never crossed 60km/hr.. but today I was really exited and happy to ride my beast at its best, I really enjoyed the pickup, speed, thrill.... coming to gearbox it lags (some times), it is smooth while the up shifts and stuck while down shifts and have to slow down the bike for down shifts but this is a common problem in all bike range. Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality and Handling is extremely good.. but rear tyre slips when you brake, you might have to use good quality tyres. Areas of improvement: Riding comfort as riders get back ache, tyres, gearbox
Best Features: RTR, dashboard has many options, etc
Pros: Good performance, stylish, fuel economy, ride quality
Cons: Comfort, gearbox
