Our take on this /// Verdict
The Suzuki Intruder M1800R, particularly the BOSS edition, is a formidable cruiser that stands out in the Indian market for its sheer power and craftsmanship. This bike is not for the faint of heart its a beast that delivers 127bhp of power and 160Nm of torque, making it one of the most potent cruisers available. The handling is exceptional, thanks to its well-tuned chassis and the stability provided by its 1,710mm wheelbase. The bikes aesthetics are equally impressive, with a design that screams cruiser from every angle. However, its hefty weight of 347kg and high price point make it a niche product, suited more for serious enthusiasts rather than casual riders. Overall, its a great choice for those who crave raw power and a premium riding experience.
Price
The Suzuki Intruder M1800R BOSS edition comes with a hefty price tag in India. The ex-showroom price is typically around 18.5 lakhs, but this can vary slightly depending on the state and local taxes. Once you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the total cost can easily exceed 20 lakhs. Despite the high cost, the bikes performance, build quality, and exclusive features justify the price for serious motorcycle enthusiasts.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 10:04 AM When it comes to mileage, the Suzuki Intruder M1800R is not exactly frugal. Given its large 1783cc engine, it is expected to consume more fuel. In real-world conditions, you can expect a mileage of around 10-12 kmpl, which is reasonable considering the bikes power output. However, this does translate to higher running costs, especially if you plan to use the bike frequently. For those concerned about mileage, its essential to weigh the performance benefits against the fuel efficiency.
