Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |
FAQs
-
What modification or accessory have you put on your Super Meteor 650 that makes it better?
13 January 2025 09:38I put a small flyscreen on and it made a world of difference to wind protection without spoiling the look of the bike. No more buffeting at highway speeds was one of the benefits.
-
Is the Super Meteor 650 comfy for long rides?
13 January 2025 09:38It depends on your body type, I think. I'm 6'2" and find the ergonomics to be perfect for me. After an hour, my shorter friend tried it and felt cramped. If you are planning to tour, definitely test ride it for a good distance before buying.
-
How does the Super Meteor 650 handle in city traffic?
13 January 2025 09:38It depends on your skill level. It's fine in the city if you're comfortable with bigger bikes. If you’re accustomed to smaller, more nimble motorcycles, however, it will feel a bit like steering a boat at first. You’ll adapt to it, however, if you give it time.
-
What does the Super Meteor 650 have to offer compared to other cruisers in the price range?
13 January 2025 09:38I was thinking about a used Harley but the Super Meteor's low maintenance cost and easy parts availability tipped me over. It certainly doesn’t have the same street cred, but it’s a much more practical choice for everyday riding.
-
What are the most frequent complaints of Super Meteor 650 owners?
13 January 2025 09:38The USB port placement is just bizarre; it is placed in the side panel. It's a pain to get to, and you can't ride with your phone charging unless you keep the panel open. It seems a strange design choice.
