USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Chrome Edition is a bike that encapsulates the essence of classic café racers with a modern twist. My experience with this bike has been a mix of admiration and some minor grievances. The bikes design is undoubtedly one of its strongest suits, with the chrome tank and polished aluminum finishings that evoke a nostalgic feel of the 1960s café racers. Performance-wise, the 648cc airoil-cooled parallel-twin engine delivers a linear power output, making it enjoyable both in city rides and on highways. However, the riding posture, particularly with the clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs, can be somewhat uncomfortable, especially in slow traffic. The fuel tank capacity of 10 liters, though sufficient for city use, requires frequent fuel stops on long highway trips. Despite these minor drawbacks, the bikes handling, braking, and overall build quality are commendable. For those who appreciate the classic look and are willing to overlook a few practical limitations, the Continental GT 650 is a charming and satisfying ride.

Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 04:05 AM The mileage of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a crucial aspect for potential buyers. From my experience and various reviews, the bike delivers a respectable mileage. In city conditions, you can expect around 22 kilometers per liter, while on highways, it improves to about 25 kilometers per liter when cruising at steady speeds. These figures are quite satisfactory considering the bikes performance and engine size. However, the small 10-liter fuel tank means youll need to plan your fuel stops more frequently on long trips, which can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, the mileage is decent and aligns well with what youd expect from a bike in this category. There is nothing royal in Royal Enfield, On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at approximately 2:30 pm, we received got continental GT 650 delivered from Royal Enfield company store, with great anticipation However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we discovered that the bike was faulty and suffered damage within just an hour of its arrival. To our shock and dismay, the bike's silencer emitted smoke, misfired in the middle of the road, and abruptly came to a halt near PVR Juhu. Adding to the distress, the silencer also underwent a transformation, displaying a goldenish blue hue, indicating a significant problem. These defects not only compromise the bike's performance but also raise concerns about its safety and long-term durability. Upon immediately contacting your showroom representative from Juhu to report the issue, we were met with an unreasonable response. Instead of acknowledging the obvious manufacturing defect, we were baselessly blamed for allegedly overfilling the petrol tank. The subsequent interactions with your showroom representatives only further exacerbated our frustration. Despite multiple calls, we were provided with another ludicrous suggestion of blowing into the tank to release any excess air. Such baseless accusations are completely unacceptable and have severely undermined our confidence in your company. It is truly disheartening to receive such a response. We spent nearly two hours stranded on the road, feeling helpless and trying to understand the cause of the problem. Eventually, we were left with no choice but to take the bike to the service center, as the showroom representative informed us that they could not assist us any further. We firmly believe that the bike was delivered to us with a pre-existing fault, This transaction was not merely a financial investment; it was an emotional investment for myself, my husband, and our entire family
