Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 revealed in faired and unfaired versions
Royal Enfield’s Continental GT 750 gets a 743cc twin, two body styles and a hybrid twin-pod TFT. India launch timing remains open.
Royal Enfield unveiled the Continental GT 750 at EICMA 2026 with a 743cc parallel-twin and two versions. The faired model has a retro front fairing and lower handlebars, while the unfaired model keeps the round headlamp exposed. Both retain the Continental GT’s twin-pod instrument layout with an updated hybrid TFT. Royal Enfield has yet to announce the final power and torque figures, India launch date or price.
Faired or unfaired GT 750?
The difference goes beyond the bodywork. The faired version places the bars lower, so riders reach farther forward. The unfaired version has a cleaner front end and a less committed riding position. A short sit on both will tell a rider more about wrist load and reach than the photos alone.
| Detail | Faired version | Unfaired version |
|---|---|---|
| Front bodywork | Front fairing around the headlamp | Exposed round headlamp |
| Handlebar position | Lower | Higher relative to the faired bike |
| Engine | 743cc parallel-twin | 743cc parallel-twin |
| Instruments | Hybrid twin-pod TFT | Hybrid twin-pod TFT |

What India buyers can compare with the Continental GT 650
The reveal establishes a larger engine and gives buyers a choice of front-end design and riding posture. The extra displacement alone does not establish the size of the performance step. Peak power and torque, kerb weight and gearing will matter when comparing the GT 750 with the GT 650 for overtaking or highway cruising.
Buyers waiting for the GT 750 should watch for the India equipment list, whether both versions arrive together, and the price difference between them. Until those details are announced, the riding position is the clearest practical distinction between the two show bikes.
