Our take on this /// Verdict
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350, particularly the 2010 model, is a motorcycle that embodies a rich history and a unique riding experience. For those who appreciate the classic styling and the distinctive thump of the Royal Enfield engine, this bike is a gem. However, it comes with its set of challenges, such as the lack of modern amenities like self-starters and disc brakes in the standard version, and a higher maintenance cost compared to other bikes in its class. The ride can be stiff, especially for new riders, and the weight of the bike makes it less practical for city traffic. Despite these drawbacks, the Bullet 350 excels in its comfort and performance on long-distance tours and off-road trails, making it a perfect choice for enthusiasts who value the thrill of riding a legendary machine.
Price
In India, the ex-showroom price of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 around 2010 was approximately 1.1 lakh to 1.3 lakh, depending on the region and any additional features. The on-road price, including taxes, registration, and other costs, would have been around 1.4 lakh to 1.6 lakh. While these prices may seem reasonable for a bike with such heritage and performance, its important to consider the overall cost of ownership, including higher maintenance costs and potential upgrades like disc brakes or a self-starter. For those willing to invest in the Royal Enfield experience, the initial cost is just the beginning of a long-term commitment.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 04:58 AM The mileage of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a critical factor for potential buyers. Typically, this bike offers a fuel efficiency of around 32-38 kilometers per liter, depending on the riding conditions. With a mix of highway and city riding, you can expect an average of about 35 kilometers per liter. This is decent for a bike of its size and power output, but it may not be the best for those looking for ultra-efficient commuting. However, for those who prioritize the joy of riding over pure fuel efficiency, the Bullet 350s mileage is more than acceptable.
