Latest Updates
Friday, 10 May 2024 06:55 PM
Moto Guzzi has improved the aerodynamics of the V85 range through extensive wind tunnel testing. The new adjustable windscreen offers 70 mm of adjustability and reduces air pressure on the rider by 37%. The V85 TT Travel features a larger windscreen and air deflectors, reducing air pressure on the rider’s helmet by 50%. These changes should make long rides more comfortable.

The 2024 V85 engine now complies with Euro 5+ emissions standards thanks to variable valve timing, new knock sensors, and an additional Lambda sensor. This has resulted in a 4 horsepower increase to 80 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and improved torque delivery, with 90% of the engine’s maximum torque available at 3,500 rpm. I think this balance between performance and emissions is impressive.
Friday, 10 May 2024 12:00 AM
The suspension on the 2024 Moto Guzzi V85 models remains largely unchanged, with 170mm of travel front and rear, and adjustable preload and rebound. However, the V85 TT and TT Travel models now feature a remote preload adjuster on the rear shock, allowing for tool-free adjustments. This should enhance off-road capability.
Friday, 10 May 2024 07:08 PM
Moto Guzzi has introduced a new five-inch TFT display across the V85 range, providing access to advanced rider aids and three basic riding modes. The TT and TT Travel models also include an off-road-specific mode that minimizes traction control and disables rear wheel ABS. I believe this tech upgrade will be a hit with tech-savvy riders.
Friday, 10 May 2024 05:27 AM
The V85 Strada, being the most urbanized version, lacks some features standard on the TT and TT Travel, such as the IMU and off-road mode. However, these can be added as accessories. The Strada also features lighter cast aluminum wheels and Dunlop Trailmax tires, making it ideal for city and country rides. I think this model will appeal to riders looking for a versatile, everyday bike.

The 2024 Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel is equipped with features like a remote preload adjuster on the shock, tubeless wire-spoke wheels with Michelin Anakee Adventure tires, and a skid plate, making it well-suited for long-distance touring and off-road adventures. Its MSRP is $14,190, reflecting its enhanced capabilities.

Moto Guzzi has focused on improving the handling of the V85 range, with the bikes retaining their signature retro style while incorporating modern tech. The revised ergonomics and aesthetics, along with the new aluminum headlight brackets and grab rails, contribute to a more contemporary appearance. I think this blend of old and new is a winning formula.

Despite the updates, the V85 range still maintains its unique Moto Guzzi persona, which includes an air-cooled 90° V-twin engine with two valves per cylinder. This engine, though simpler than some modern counterparts, has been refined with variable valve timing and knock sensors to meet Euro 5+ emissions standards. I believe this simplicity adds to the bikes charm.

For 2024, Moto Guzzi has expanded the V85 lineup to include three models: the V85 Strada, V85 TT, and V85 TT Travel. The V85 Strada is a road-biased version with lighter cast aluminum wheels and minimal passenger provisions. The V85 TT is geared towards supermoto enthusiasts, while the TT Travel is designed for long-distance touring. All models share the same 853cc transverse V-twin engine with variable valve timing, producing 80 horsepower and 83 Nm of torque. I think the variety in models will appeal to a broader range of riders.

The 2024 Moto Guzzi V85 range features significant updates, including a redesigned 23-liter fuel tank, new cylinder head covers, and a cast aluminum unit replacing the mini-trellis frame. The bikes also come with a new adjustable windscreen, wider hand guards, and improved electronics, including a six-axis IMU for enhanced ABS and traction control. Cruise control is now standard across all models. I believe these updates will enhance both comfort and safety.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |
