Moto Guzzi Audace Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Moto Guzzi Audace is a one of it's kind offering for the Indian market as it presents a typical Moto Guzzi styled cruiser with a very powerful engine and exotic looks. Spreading it's wings through the Piaggio, the brand stands proud between expensive cruisers with a lot of features.
Design & Style
The motorcycle uses a typical cruiser frame with huge body and a relaxed riding posture. The exclusivity belongs to it's fuel tank, which bends to the inside in such a manner that the engine casing sits perfectly inside it. The iconic Moto Guzzi engine placement style is beautiful while it's multi-spoke alloy wheel design makes it look more than anything around in its price segment.
Dimensions & Weight
Huge is the perfect word for this cruiser as it is 2445 mm in length, 920 mm in width and 1145 mm in height. A wheelbase of 1695 mm can put every other cruiser to shame and the 314 kg of wet weight makes it ultra stable while running at triple digit speeds. A 20.5 liter fuel tank has been used for feeding this beast.
Engine & Gearbox
Audace is powered by a 1380 cc, V-Twin motor producing 96 hp @ 6500 rpm and 121 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. Availability of full torque at low rpm makes it a breeze while driving in any of it's 6 gears. Pulling this huge machine weighing nearly 400 kg (with rider) is done smoothly with this big sized engine.
Brakes & Suspension
The bike comes with dual 320 mm front disc brakes with 4 piston calipers while the rear is a 282 mm single disc with 2 piston calipers. The front wheel measures 130/70-18 while the rear is a fat 200/60-16 unit. The front suspension is 46 mm telescopic forks while the rear uses a double shock absorber with adjustable extension.
Shades & Price
Moto Guzzi Audace is being offered in Red and Black shade, while the price has been kept at INR 19,94,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
