USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The LML Freedom LS, although discontinued since 2013, was a notable contender in the 110cc commuter motorcycle segment during its time. My verdict on this bike is that it offered a reliable and economical option for daily commuting. The refined and smooth 110cc engine, coupled with a four-speed transmission, provided a decent balance of power and fuel efficiency. However, the bike lacked some modern features such as front disc brakes and tubeless tyres, which could be a drawback for some buyers. The unique side stand with a gear lock mechanism was a thoughtful safety feature. Overall, it was a solid choice for those seeking a no-frills, dependable commuter bike, but its outdated design and limited features might make it less appealing compared to newer models.
Price
The LML Freedom LS was priced competitively in the Indian market, with ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs. 46,643 to Rs. 49,950, depending on the region. On-road prices would typically include additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could push the total cost to around Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000. Given its price point, the Freedom LS offered good value for money, especially considering its fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs. However, since the bike is discontinued, buyers would need to look at used or pre-owned options, which could affect the overall cost and availability.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 04:05 PM The LML Freedom LS boasts an impressive mileage of approximately 55-65 kmpl, making it an attractive option for those concerned about running costs. This fuel efficiency is a significant advantage, especially for daily commuters who need a reliable and economical ride. With rising fuel prices, the Freedom LSs mileage can help reduce the financial burden of frequent fuel stops, making it a practical choice for those prioritizing economy.

This is an amazing bike perfect for any type of rider. Unfortunately, there is no showroom near us, so we cannot purchase another. However, this bike is incredibly smooth to drive and is easy to handle. The seating is incredibly comfortable and the mileage is quite good. In short, this bike offers an excellent combination of mileage, comfort, and pickup. I highly recommend it!

It's a Great Family Bike and I'm Glad to Have It.

Back in December 2005, my father purchased a secondhand LML Freedom DX. It had just been out of the showroom, having only travelled 600km, and was manufactured in December 2004. Fast-forward 13 years and my bike has covered a total of 48000km - I use it every day, travelling 25km on average. At the time, the Freedom DX was the hottest bike on the Indian market, and it still looks great after all this time. The shock absorbers were fantastic when I first got it, though they don't work as well these days. Despite this, it's still a comfortable ride and it has quite a bit of power - although it only averages 45km per litre. Its maintenance costs are low, and parts are still available, though not as readily as for other models. The sad thing is that there are no Freedom service centres in my area, and the resale value is low due to lack of demand. But for everyday use, it's a great family bike and I'm glad to have it.
