The Kinetic Flyte, once a part of Mahindras scooter lineup, has been out of production for several years. The decision to discontinue it was largely due to poor sales and stiff competition in the market. I think this move was necessary for Mahindra to focus on more viable models.

Despite its stylish design and practical features, the Kinetic Flyte struggled to compete with other scooters in the market, such as the Suzuki Swish. The lack of demand for 125cc scooters and intense competition led to its eventual discontinuation. I believe the market dynamics at that time were not in favor of the Flyte.

Prior to its acquisition by Mahindra, the Kinetic Flyte was one of the oldest scooters in the Kinetic lineup, dating back to 2006. Despite its long history, the scooter failed to adapt to changing market preferences, ultimately leading to its discontinuation. I believe the scooters age and lack of modern features contributed to its decline.

The Kinetic Flytes performance was hampered by its relatively higher engine capacity in a market dominated by smaller scooters. Before its discontinuation, Mahindra had attempted to revamp the Kinetic Flyte to make it more appealing to consumers. However, these efforts were not enough to overcome the stiff competition and changing market preferences. I think the companys efforts were too little, too late for the Flyte.
