Kawasaki Ninja RR ZX150 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Kawasaki is slowly bringing its Ninja series to India and the competition is rising with such a fast level that each day will bring a new segment into the race world. The Kawasaki race bikes are unique, like they have some sort of charm while being on the track. The smallest offering in India was the Ninja 250R which was discontinued as 300R made a debut. Ninja RR was very much expected to rival the R15 in India, but Kawasaki can't bring Ninja RR 150 (ZX150) to India because it is a 2-stroke motorcycle.
Design & Style
The Ninja RR, as the family name goes, looks like a ready to race bike but the profile being lean and much simpler than the elders. But don't just go by the looks and tradition, it’s much more being offered for the money. The front gets a single headlight cluster only.
Engine & Performance
This would have been the wining phase for the Ninja if it would have been launched. The Ninja RR has a 149 cc motor, producing unbelievable 28.16 BHP @ 11000 rpm and 20 NM @ 9000 rpm. The engine being a 2-stroke, liquid cooled unit was a true powerhouse to the little Ninja. The six speed transmission equally distributes the power into each gear.
Brakes & Suspension
The Ninja RR has a double disc braking system, one for each wheel. The suspension was handled by 41 mm telescopic forks for the front and a monoshock for the rear. It's riding on 17 inch tyres measuring 90/90 for the front and 110/80 for the rear. The machine weighs 134 kg with a 10.8 litres of fuel tank.
Shades & Expected Price
Kawasaki manufactures the Ninja RR in Red, Yellow and Green shade and if ever arrives, it is priced at INR 1,60,000-1,80,000 in international markets. It won't be launched in India because it is a 2-stroke motorcycle.

What is the on-road price of Kawasaki Ninja RR ZX150 in Bangalore?
29 December 2022 05:54The on-road price of Kawasaki Ninja RR ZX150 would have been INR 1.8 lakh but unfortunately it will not be launched in the country ever. The only reason behind its no launch plans is its 2-stroke engine, which have been banned in the country due to the new emission norms. The bike comes with a 149 cc, 2-stroke single cylinder engine producing 28.16 BHP and 20 NM of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and came with front as well as rear disc brake. It had a fuel tank of 10.8 liters, with a lightweight design weighing 134 kg. With 17 inch wheels, the specifications of the motorcycle are quiet impressive as it was just a 150 cc segment bike.

29 December 2022 05:54The Kawasaki NInja RR ZX150 returned a mileage of 30-35 kmpl and came with a 149 cc, single cylinder, 2-stroke engine. The motorcycle produced 28.16 BHP and 20 NM of torque whereas the normal 150 cc bikes are nothing more than 14-15 BHP. It has a 6-speed gearbox and came with a 145 mm ground clearance.
