Kawasaki KLX140G
About
The Kawasaki KLX140G is a meticulously designed trail bike that bridges the gap between smaller kid-oriented bikes and larger, more cumbersome models. It inherits its motor and frame from the KLX140 and KLX140L but stands out with its full-size 21- and 18-inch wheels, longer swingarm, and enhanced suspension travel. This combination makes it incredibly nimble and manageable, perfect for building confidence in off-road riding. The air-cooled 144cc engine is friendly and delivers power in a very usable manner, especially in the low and mid-range, which is ideal for beginners. The bike also features a smooth 5-speed transmission and a single 220mm petal disc brake up front, ensuring smooth and controlled braking. With its sharp and aggressive styling inspired by Kawasakis KX range of motocross bikes, the KLX140G is both visually appealing and functionally superior, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to dive into off-road riding.

Price
In India, the Kawasaki KLX140G is priced competitively to cater to the growing off-road enthusiast market. The ex-showroom price for the KLX140G typically ranges around 4.3 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs, depending on the region and any local taxes. Once you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other miscellaneous charges, the total on-road price can go up to around 5.2 lakhs to 5.5 lakhs. This pricing makes the KLX140G a viable option for those seeking a mid-sized dirt bike that offers a blend of performance, ease of use, and durability. Given its features and capabilities, the price seems justified, especially for riders who are serious about off-road riding but do not want to jump straight into larger, more powerful bikes.

When it comes to mileage, the Kawasaki KLX140G is not designed for long-distance touring but rather for off-road adventures. The fuel efficiency of this bike is generally good, considering its purpose. On average, you can expect a mileage of around 30-40 kml, though this can vary significantly based on the terrain, riding style, and maintenance of the bike. For instance, riding on smoother trails will yield better mileage compared to navigating through challenging, rocky terrains.
