FAQs
-
Does the XBlade's digital instrument cluster meet the hype?
17 January 2025 06:48But it’s overkill for a 160cc commuter. I don’t use half the functions, and I’m sick of worrying about the repair costs when it conks out after the warranty.
-
In long-distance touring, how does the XBlade compare to its competitors?
17 January 2025 06:48People don't give it credit for things it's capable of. No, it’s not a dedicated tourer, but it’s versatile enough to cope with the odd long ride without too much hassle.
-
Is the Honda XBlade Double Disc Model worth the extra price over the single-disc variant?
17 January 2025 06:48If you're mostly commuting, it’s not worth it. Yet if you're the type of person who likes to take your bike on weekends, that rear disc can be a lifesaver through twisty roads.
-
And how does the XBlade’s LED headlight stack up against other bikes in its class?
17 January 2025 06:48If you're someone who rides a lot at night, the XBlade's headlight makes an incredible difference compared to what I used to ride. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely above average for the segment.
-
Does the XBlade’s performance justify the higher price tag as compared to other 160cc bikes?
17 January 2025 06:40It depends on what you value. For a look that is completely different and smooth performance, it may be worth the extra cost. If you’re on a tight budget, there are cheaper options that are just as good.
-
Now that Honda has discontinued the XBlade, why did it do so, and will it return?
17 January 2025 06:40I wouldn't be shocked if it came back as an electric model. Honda has been trying to push into the EV space, and the XBlade's futuristic design is something that would suit an electric powertrain.
-
Is the Honda XBlade 160 really an underrated motorcycle?
17 January 2025 06:40I would say it’s underrated, but I would rather say it’s underappreciated. Honda’s marketing has been pretty weak, but it’s a good bike. Perhaps if more people knew what the features were, it'd be more popular.
-
Why does the XBlade's headlight design look so different?
17 January 2025 06:40I love it! The LED headlight is super cool looking, X-shaped, and really makes the bike look aggressive in front. Definitely an eye catcher.
-
What is the XBlade’s performance on long rides?
17 January 2025 06:40Surprisingly well! I've done a few 300 km trips on my XBlade, and it was completely comfortable. It really helps with the upright seating position on long rides.
-
What are some alternatives to the Honda XBlade 160 in the market today?
11 September 2023 10:56While the XBlade 160 is discontinued, Honda offers other commuter and sportbike models that cater to various riding preferences. Some alternatives could include the Honda CB Unicorn, Honda Hornet 2.0, or similar bikes in the 150-160cc segment.
