Honda CB Shine Drum CBS Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
The Honda CB Shine ranks up quite high when the Honda bikes are listed according to their popularity. This daily commuter comes with the assurance of a good build quality from Honda, and a good service network for all your after-purchase needs. The good mileage and the low price of the bike makes it quite economical on the pocket as well. The design of the bike is quite simple, with major focus being on its practicality rather than looks. The Honda CB Shine is powered by a 124.7cc Air cooled, 4 Stroke, SI petrol engine that allows the bike to have a maximum power of 10.57 bhp at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.30 Nm at 5500 rpm. With the 4-speed manual transmission that the engine comes mated to, the Honda CB Shine is able to produce an average mileage of around 60 kmpl, often going as up as 65 kmpl on the highways.
The long seat and Honda’s tried and tested stress-free engine on the bike makes it quite comfortable for long commutes. The entire bike is built around an Advanced Design Diamond frame and the suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a spring loaded hydraulic at the rear. There are 130mm drum brakes at both ends of the bike with the combi-braking technology, and the front and the rear of the bike are supported by 80/100-18 tires on 18-inch spoke wheels. Both the tires are tubeless. The instrument cluster is quite crisp and clear with its analogue design. Overall, the the Honda CB Shine is quite a reliable commuter for those who want a good mileage and practicality out of their bikes. With the low seat height and comfortable riding position, you can extend your commutes to great distances on the bike and never feel uncomfortable.

I got my bike in Rs 62,000 but believe me, the change in engine parts and other things made me spend extra Rs 60,000.
Best Features: Shine is comfortable and easy to ride
Pros: Design and seat comfort

Honda CB Shine Drum CBS Discussion
Honda CB Shine 125 cc is a very reliable bike in the mid budget segment. It has the advantage with the engine quality and decent performance with both comfort and styling.
Honda bike is good but service from b u bhandari vimanagar is very bad. they never keep the accessories. they alway suggest to purchace from the other sevice center. dont go to this service center for servicing the honda byke

yesterday my dearest friend sooraj bought a new cb shine,it's a great bike overall, engine is smooth, good mileage and good pickup, the only problem is we can't easily remove or insert the key
this bike is not god, last week i got this bike and i face meny problem this bike. self start problem, brack probelem, key lock problem etc.
i have puchased honda cb shine 8-9 month ago...overall this is a good bike...engine is smooth, pick up is good according 125 cc bike..very low maintainance.milege is arround 55. figure is quite stylish..bt the body parts are not well build... the rear is also a problem...beside these two problem this bike is a good option for those who want to buy a bike by reasoning price..
Don't go for Honda bike. Bikes are good. But delivery and service is not good. i booked honda shine, they told it would be delivered before 20 days. But they didn't do anything,so i'm planning for bajaj pulsar 150 or discover 100 or 125. Please don't go for honda bike
i hate this bike because it doesn't have a good pickup, speed, milage compared to yamaha ss125
last week I got the vehicle, lot of vibration from front cowl and rear tail lamp, gear shifting not that good, I have purchased in City Honda, St' Marks road, Bangalore. there Cashier cheated my accessories amount by Invoicing for lesser amount. cashier name is Pai. when I raised this issue, the dealer bare 50% of accessories amount, additional I paid from my pocket.
Shine is a great combination of milege, power, fashion, comfort, smooth riding. I have recently purchase shine wwith self, drum brake. It giving milege of 60 km/ltr. Only and only weak point is that the asseceries like side stand, saari gaurd, leg gaurd, foot rest and other part expecting engine are so light and weak.
It is the best Bike in Honda's other bikes.. This bike beats all the 125cc segment bikes in all the ways.. Main problem is waiting. Servicing facility. If both problems are OK. Then no problem Bike is yours. I buy it 3 years ago. And bike is as smooth as 3 years ago. Gives good mileage also up to 58to62 Best bike i ever seen.. Best!!! Hats off to Honda...
@Krishna Kumar This the best bike in 125 cc segment. good looking decent nice fuel efficiency
I will get mine within 30 days.......... And guys how's the performance?
I want Honda CB Shine.
Excellent, good mileage
Its a good bike and gives good mileage. the only problem, however, is engine vibration once the bike crosses 50kph. The rear tyre is too thin and there are greater possibilities of the bike skidding as well.
It is the allround bike.
Excellent bike in overall performance under 125cc segment.. go for it!
hmm gud bike ...
Very gud average between 70 to 80 km/litr
Honda is known for its Quality bikes. CB Shine is the best bike in 125cc segment but price is high as compare to other 125cc bikes. The average of bike is good, looks good, over all CB Shine is good.
