USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda CB Hornet 160R SE CBS is a capable and stylish motorcycle that caters well to the urban rider. Its aggressive design, particularly the muscular tank and distinctive X-shaped LED tail light, makes it a head-turner on the roads. The bikes mid-range performance is commendable, and the combined braking system (CBS) enhances safety, especially on slippery surfaces. However, it falls short in terms of high-speed performance and refinement, with some users reporting issues with low-end torque and engine vibes. The ride comfort is generally good, though tall riders might find the mirrors a bit narrow. Overall, its a great upgrade for those moving from a 125cc bike, but it may not satisfy those seeking more power or smoother engine performance.
Price
The Honda CB Hornet 160R SE CBS, although discontinued, was priced at Rs 86,595 ex-showroom in India during its time. On-road prices would have varied depending on the state and local taxes, but you could expect an additional Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 for registration, insurance, and other costs, bringing the total to around Rs 96,595 to Rs 101,595. Given its features and performance, the price was competitive within its segment, rivaling bikes like the Yamaha FZ-S and Suzuki Gixxer.

Honda Losing Business Big Time!!!

Rajdeep Das | 6 years ago

**Very Disappointed with Honda Service ** Honda is a good brand no doubt about it. But it is losing business big time just because of their after sale maintenance & service. There can be a thousand problems in your bike and its natural but Honda service centers are never interested to solve these issues. The technicians and the mechanics are not well trained to diagnose the problem and instead they try to convince the customer that they can live with it as these are very common and its not a problem at all. Due to the poor after sale service, the brand name Honda is getting ruined. From my side Honda can no longer live up to its reputation anymore. I owe a CB Hornet 160R CBS and I am facing a problem with my bike visited the showroom (Premier Honda Dankuni, WB.) 15 times but the issue was not yet resolved rather I am spending money on petrol and wasting my precious time which I am now forced to do so.

Best Features: Brakes, Stability

Pros: Style, road grip

Cons: Honda customer Service, No engine kill switch, Poor headlight
