Honda has finally released the Activa 6G Premium Edition at Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom) after teasing its release. Although there was prior rumors that it would be the seventh generation of the Activa, we discussed how it'll likely be a special edition in our most recent report. The Activa has a more superior appearance thanks to the Premium Edition's gold wheels, emblems, and front apron garnish. The scooter has a tidy appearance thanks to the brown finishing on the seat and footboard. To top it off, you also receive a "Premium" logo and a 3D golden emblem. Three new colors—Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue—are offered for the special edition.

Tuesday, 23 August 2022 03:17 PM The Honda Activa 6G Premium Edition has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 75,400. This new edition comes with several cosmetic upgrades, including a new 3D Activa emblem and golden accents. The scooter is available in three new attractive color options: Mat Sangria Red Metallic, Mat Marshal Green Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. I think these cosmetic changes will appeal to those looking for a bit of exclusivity without a significant price hike.
Monday, 22 August 2022 01:12 PM The launch of the Activa Premium Edition marks a minor yet significant update to the popular scooter. With only cosmetic changes, Honda is targeting buyers who are looking for a unique and stylish scooter without compromising on the reliability and performance of the Activa 6G. I think this move will help Honda maintain its market share in the scooter segment.

Wednesday, 17 August 2022 03:03 PM Honda has unveiled the Activa Premium Edition through a social media post, highlighting its new design elements. The scooter features a new paint scheme, notably a blue color with golden accents, giving it a more premium look. However, the mechanical specifications remain the same as the standard Activa 6G. I believe these aesthetic updates will help attract buyers who value style and uniqueness.
Tuesday, 16 August 2022 06:42 AM The Activa Premium Edition includes five key changes, all of which are cosmetic updates to the existing Activa 6G model. These changes are aimed at providing a more premium feel without altering the performance. The new edition retains the same engine and features as the standard model but offers a fresh look. I think this strategy is smart as it caters to customers who want a bit of exclusivity without breaking the bank.

Strongly advise taking a look at other scooter models

After purchasing the new Honda Activa 6G in February 2021, I initially thought it was a good scooter. However, after a few days of use, I started to notice some strange noises coming from the engine and the brakes seemed to be of poor quality. Additionally, it had a much worse mileage than my previous Honda Activa 3G.

Therefore, I would strongly advise taking a look at other scooter models if you are considering buying the Honda Activa 6G. I found that there are other scooters that offer better performance, better mileage, and are overall a more reliable choice.

Needs improvement

One of the most remarkable features of the Honda Activa 6G is its double hook-up design, but unfortunately it is open ended, which can be dangerous if you go over a bump. The start button with an on/off feature is an interesting addition, but it is not entirely necessary as you can simply turn the key off to shut down the engine.

I had an issue with the temporary number sticker I was removing above the petrol intake cover. Although I had closed it, it opened up and I can’t be sure if this is a genuine defect or not.

I would like to also point out that the tank size could be increased as it can get empty quite quickly when used as a daily commuter.

Performance is not up to the mark

Honda Activa 6G has a great look, with a sleek and stylish design. However, its performance is not up to the mark with a mileage of less than 40 kmpl. The cost of the bike is also quite high compared to other bikes. To improve the quality of the model, Honda should focus on improving its performance and reducing the cost of the bike. This would surely help in making the Activa 6G a better choice among the customers.

Good and Reliable..Little too Expensive

I've been riding this for last 6 month and the best part is never felt the lack of power in the time of need compared to other bikes on the road..the disc brakes are impressive and works well.the mileage could have been little better, now getting around 40 kmpl, and the head lights are a bit too shallow.

Best Features: Disc brake, wider longer seat, fresh looks with chrome finish

Pros: Riding comfort, pickup

Cons: Head light, suspension
