Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Xoom 110 ZX is a well-rounded scooter that stands out in the 110cc segment with its sporty intentions and robust feature list. My experience with the Xoom 110 ZX has been largely positive, thanks to its crisp performance, linear acceleration, and predictable handling. The scooters design is a highlight, with angular styling and a striking LED projector headlamp that turns heads. However, there are some areas that need improvement, such as the engine refinement at low speeds, which can be a bit gruff, and the lack of an external fuel filler cap. Despite these minor misses, the Xoom 110 ZX offers a great balance between a plush ride and spirited riding, making it a solid choice for those looking for a sporty 110cc scooter.
Price
The Hero Xoom 110 ZX is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the ZX variant is around Rs. 77,199 in Delhi. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 95,000, depending on the state and local taxes. Given the features and performance it offers, the Xoom 110 ZX is well-priced, especially when compared to its main rivals like the Honda Dio. The premium you pay for the ZX variant over the lower trims is justified by the additional features such as a disc brake, Bluetooth connectivity, and alloy wheels.
Hero XOOM 110 ZX on road price is Rs 92,042 in Delhi, Rs 95,160 in Mumbai, Rs 93,161 in Kolkata and Rs 94,361 in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Hero dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Hero Xoom 110 Combat Edition, priced at Rs 80,967, which is a small premium of Rs 1,000 over the Xoom 110 ZX variant. This new edition features a unique matte finish color scheme called Matt Shadow Grey, along with neon yellow and dark grey graphics, giving it a premium look. The Combat Edition also includes corner bending lights and Hero’s i3S technology. I believe this edition adds a stylish and functional twist to the existing model.

The Hero Xoom 110, including the ZX variant, is set to see a price hike of Rs 1,500 from July 2024, as announced by Hero MotoCorp. This price increase is part of a broader move to adjust prices for several of their bikes and scooters. I think this hike might slightly impact sales, but the Xoom 110s features and performance should still make it a compelling choice.

The Hero Xoom 110 ZX variant competes directly with other sporty 110cc scooters like the Honda Dio. It is powered by a 110.9cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 8.05PS and 8.70Nm. The scooter features a telescopic fork and single rear shock absorber, along with 12-inch wheels and a disc brake at the front. Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |
