Hero XF3R Concept
General information and overview
The Hero XF3R, first showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, has been a highly anticipated concept motorcycle. It features a 300 cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 28 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The bike is equipped with advanced features such as ABS, fuel injection, and dual riding modes. Its design includes a single-sided swingarm, upside-down front forks, and a trellis frame, making it both visually appealing and technologically sound. The XF3R is expected to offer a superior driving experience with its powerful braking system and impressive suspension, making it a head-turner on Indian roads. Despite the delayed launch, the XF3R remains a promising option for those looking for a high-performance motorcycle with modern features.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Hero XF3R concept, although long in the making, promises to be a significant addition to the Indian motorcycle market. With its 300 cc engine producing 28 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque, this bike is poised to deliver a robust performance. The design, featuring a single-sided swingarm, upside-down front forks, and a trellis frame, is both stylish and technologically advanced. The inclusion of ABS, fuel injection, and dual riding modes enhances its appeal. However, the delayed launch and the presence of other models like the Xtreme 200 and Xpulse 200 might affect its market positioning. Nonetheless, for those who have been waiting, the XF3Rs unique features and competitive pricing make it an attractive option.
Recent news and announcements
The Hero XF3R is expected to launch in October 2025, with a starting price of Rs. 1.6 lakh. This naked street motorcycle will be powered by a 300cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The design is anticipated to be sharper and stylish, competing with the likes of the Yamaha FZ25 and Mahindra Mojo UT300. I think this could be a game-changer in the Indian market with its sleek design and powerful engine.
Hero Motocorp has confirmed that the XF3R will feature a 6-speed manual transmission and produce 28 bhp of power along with 35 Nm of torque. The bike will also come with ABS and dual riding modes, enhancing its performance and safety. The combination of these features makes it an exciting prospect for bike enthusiasts.
The Hero XF3R concept, first showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, has been in development for several years. Initially, it was expected to have a 200cc engine, but it has since been upgraded to a 300cc engine. This significant change is likely to impact its performance and market positioning. I believe this upgrade will make the XF3R more competitive in the Indian market.
The XF3R is expected to boast a trellis frame, single-sided swingarm, and upside-down front forks, which were highlighted during its concept phase. These features suggest a focus on both style and performance. The bikes design language is set to be more aggressive and stylish compared to other Hero models like the Xtreme 200R.
Hero Motocorp has been busy with the launch of other models like the Xtreme 200 and Xpulse 200, which has delayed the XF3Rs launch. However, the company has reassured that the XF3R will be launched soon, likely in October 2025. This delay might have allowed for further refinements and improvements.
Pricing details and changes
The Hero XF3R is expected to be priced competitively in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom price starting from around 1.60 lakh. However, the on-road price can vary depending on state-specific taxation policies, which could add several thousand rupees to the final cost. Despite these variations, the overall pricing is reasonable considering the advanced features and performance it offers. For potential buyers, this pricing makes the XF3R a viable choice in the 300 cc segment, offering a balance between cost and the value it provides.
Fuel efficiency information
The Hero XF3R boasts a mileage of 35 kmpl, which is quite adequate for a 300 cc motorcycle. This fuel efficiency, combined with a decent fuel tank capacity, ensures a good driving range. For buyers concerned about running costs, the XF3Rs mileage is a significant advantage, making it a practical choice for both daily commuting and long rides.

- Hero XF-3R is a concept motorcycle from the world's largest bike maker. It carries a 300cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine that has undisclosed power values. It carries a 6-speed gearbox and comes with dual disc brakes with optional ABS. XF3R comes with USD front forks and carries the best ever design from the company. If launched in its production guise, it would rival Mahindra Mojo, BMW G310R and all other bikes around the 300cc segment. It would definitely carry the most effective price tag among all other bikes from this segment.

Professional reviews and expert opinions on Hero XF3R Concept
Hero's most performance packed offering, the XF3R Concept is also one of the most eye catching substance around the country. It carries a different approach than traditional Hero motorcycles and surprisingly, it also carries a bit of EBR in itself. The Hero's performance partner which has gone down due to excessive debt has also show their designing as well as performance skills on the present concept.
The first of its kind from Hero MotoCorp, XF3R comes with a true street fighter design. It gets a vertically stretched front fascia with blue LED DRL's and golden painted USD forks at the front. The thick forks are linked to a 5x2 style spider web alloy wheels, which has been painted black for the front and red for the rear. The clean ground clearance is further enhanced by a high mounted exhaust and a red under body surround panel.
Red ribs can be seen below the muscular and huge fuel tank covering of the XF3R Concept. The seats are split and a physical grab rail has been missed at the rear. The XF3R Concept gets a single screen fully digital instrument console with a tachometer display in the top section and speedometer in the center. The console rests on the top of the small windshield and the bike comes equipped with front as well as rear disc brake.
The engine has been said to be a 300cc unit with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The power figures of the bike have not yet been revealed. It is expected to get a production ready version by 2017 and would come with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike uses premium Pirelli Sport Demon tyres and optional ABS. XF3R is expected to launch with a price tag of around INR 1.75-2.00 lakh and it would use a mono-shock instead of traditional dual shock absorbers at the rear.
