Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Achiever 150 Limited Edition is a solid choice for those seeking a practical and comfortable commuter motorcycle. While it may not turn heads with its design, it excels in areas that matter most to daily commuters. The bike features Heros patented i3s (Idle Start Stop System) and AHO (Automatic Headlamp On), which are significant advantages in the 150cc segment. The engine is refined, producing 13.4 bhp and 12.8 Nm of torque, and it remains smooth even at higher revs. The five-speed gearbox is crisp, and the bike handles well in both city and highway conditions. Although the skinny tyres may not inspire confidence in corners, the overall package is hard to ignore, especially given its competitive pricing and excellent fuel efficiency. For those prioritizing comfort, practicality, and economy, the Hero Achiever 150 Limited Edition is definitely worth considering.
Price
The Hero Achiever 150 Limited Edition was priced competitively in the Indian market before it was discontinued. The ex-showroom price in Delhi was around Rs 62,800. When considering the on-road price, you would need to add costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could bring the total to around Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000, depending on the state and local regulations. This pricing makes it an attractive option compared to other bikes in the 150cc segment, such as the Honda CB Unicorn and Bajaj V15, which are priced slightly higher. The value for money is evident, given the features and performance it offers.

User Reviews for Hero Achiever (2017)
Reviews Submitted by Maxabout Community
First, the back tire should be bigger. I don't know why Hero is concentrating on entry level bikes. They could have done better with 150cc bikes.
Best Features: Retro styled meter console
Pros: Impressive acceleration
Cons: Build quality
The refinement of the engine is also good. In terms of performance, it never struggles on the highway and city. Still, more aggression needed here.
Best Features: Best mileage from a 150cc bike!
Pros: mileage, i3s, comfort, refinement
Cons: looks, plastic quality
Achiever 150 is better than Honda Unicorn and Bajaj Pulsar and has excellent mileage. I am very happy with this bike.
Best Features: i3s, mileage, comfort, build
Pros: engine, mileage, price, comfort
Cons: I feel their is no negative feature
THE BEST 150cc BIKE IN THIS SEGMENT @ OF 125 CC BIKE. IT'S A GENTLE BIKE FOR PURE GENTLEMAN, I HAVE TAKEN THIS BIKE 2 MONTHS BACK & I AM FULLY SATISFIED. PREVIOUSLY I WAS LOOKING FOR APACHE. BUT MY FATHER WAS NOT AGREE TO BUY THAT BIKE AS BECAUSE ONE OF HIS FRIEND IS SUFFERING WITH APACHE (160cc). SO HE GIVEN ME OPTION XTREME. BUT I PERSONALLY DON'T LIKE XTREME BECAUSE HERO IS CHANGING THIS BIKE FREQUENTLY & ITS LOOKS. SO I WENT FOR ACHIEVER. AND I THINK I WAS PERFECTLY RIGHT CHOOSING ACHIEVER. I WILL SUGGEST ALL YOUNG STARS GO FOR THIS BIKE & ENJOY THE HEROISM FROM HERO.
Best Features: COMPACT BIKE
Pros: IT'S VERY COMFORTABLE
Cons: BACK SIDE HYDRAULIC

Best Features: Long fuel tank gives a leopard looks to it
Pros: Mileage, smooth sound of engine, colour and graphics, almost everything
