In mixed city highway riding I get 65-70 kmpl consistently. If you ride sensibly it’s pretty close to Bajaj’s claims.

Marketing BS! Nothing close to 68 kmpl have I ever seen. In the city, on a good day I might get 55 kmpl. Bajaj is definitely overpromising.

That really depends on your riding style. On highway runs I've managed to squeeze out 72 kmpl, and city mileage is about 60 kmpl.

I believe Bajaj's numbers are attainable, but not in actual conditions. I get about 62 kmpl still, which is still pretty good.

No one gets the advertised mileage in any vehicle, let’s be real. Despite that, the Discover still provides great fuel efficiency relative to its rivals.

I have the bike for 2 years and my average is 58kmpl. Not bad, but definitely not 68 kmpl. Don’t believe everything a manufacturer claims.

These bikes are just asking for trouble. It's not designed for performance, it's designed for efficiency. So they'll just give you an unreliable ride.

I’ve seen guys install aftermarket exhausts, but let’s be honest, it’s more noise than performance gain. Not worth it in my opinion.

The best 'mod' is good maintenance. If you keep it well tuned, you get the best performance you can without making it unreliable.

I re mapped the ECU and it noticeable made a difference in power delivery. It's not a race bike anymore but it is definitely peppier.

I tried a few mods on mine - air filter, exhaust, even ported the head. Got maybe 1-2 hp more. It's not worth the hassle or the expense.

Focus on handling mods instead. In reality, chasing a few extra horsepower doesn’t make as much of a difference as better tires and upgraded suspension.

I have a friend that bored out his engine for more displacement. Bike's had nothing but problems, but he's faster now. Stick to stock for reliability.

The only mod I would suggest is a good set of brake pads. It improves stopping power without messing with the bike’s overall balance.

If you want performance get a performance bike. It’s a waste of time and money to try and turn the Discover into something it isn’t.
