Bajaj Autos is a part of Bajaj Group that deals with the automobiles. It was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan during 1930s. It is the third largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world and second largest in India. It has plants in Chakan (Pune), Waluj (near Aurangabad) and Pantnagar (in Uttarakhand) with headquarters in Pune. The oldest plant of Bajaj in Akurdi (Pune) now serves as a research and development center for Bajaj. Currently the company is headed by Rahul Bajaj who is worth around US$3.4billion. Bajaj Discover is a motorcycle brand from Bajaj Autos. Discover was launched in 2004 and it is a huge success for Bajaj in Indian Market. There are total eight variants of Discover present in the Indian market with engine displacement varying from 100cc to 150cc.
Dimensions
Bajaj Discover 125T measures 2035mm in length, 714mm in width and 1070mm in height with 1305mm of wheelbase. The minimum ground clearance offer by this bike is 165mm. This motorcycle has the longest wheelbase in its class.
Engine and Suspension
Bajaj Discover 125T is powered by a single cylinder 4-valve DTS-i engine that makes 124.6cc of displacement. The power generated by this engine is 12.4 bhp at 9000 rpm and the maximum torque thus produced is 10.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. It houses the 5-speed manual transmission with wet multi plate type clutch. This motorcycle can reach a top speed of 105kmph. The chassis of Discover is semi double cradle frame and the bike supports air cooling system. It can reach a mark of 60kmph in just 5.94seconds. The front suspension uses 130mm telescopic shock absorber while the rear uses 110mm Nitrox twin shock absorbers.
Brakes and Other Premium Features
The front brake is 130mm drum brake while the rear has 130mm drum brakes. The front tyre has been provided with option of petal disc brake with 200mm of diameter. It has a total fuelling capacity of 10 litres from which 3.5 litres of fuel goes in reserve. It gives an average mileage of 65 kmpl (on highways) and 50 kmpl (in city). The kerb weight of Bajaj Discover with drum brakes is 124kg. The Bajaj Discover with disc brake weighs just 700grams more as compared to the variant with drum brakes. The front tier has size 2.75 x 17, 41P and the rear supports tier of size 3.00 x 17, 50P. The wheels have aluminium alloy die cast alloys with 10-spokes in unique pattern. It uses 12V maintenance free battery for the electrical system of the motorcycle. The capacity of the battery is 5Ah and the power rating for the DC headlamps is 35/35W. The long convenient seat and an ergonomic riding posture ensure fatigue free riding. The aggressive sharp headlamp provides sufficient light during night travel. The other various premium features added to the new Discover 125T are signature muscular tank, aluminium side set, unique 10-spoke alloys and sporty seat.

It is equipped with self-start option and the kick is also provided in case of low battery. It is offered in four colors named as Brilliant Blue, Midnight Black (with Blue Decals), Flame Red and Midnight Black (with Red Decals).

I bought Bajaj Discover 125ST in sep 2013. I get extremely good response from my bike.it gives feel of powerful racer bikes during riding, thanks for 4 valve twin spark engine.and also I get 70+ average many time. so I m very happy and enjoying my bike.and decide to use many years.
Best Features: 13 ps power delievered by engine.

My discover 125T, it is a good vehicle.
Without any bias, I rode this to Goa from Mandya. 673kms. Haven't faced any problems. And in the city another 200 kms. By using right engine oil,(Valvoline), till this day, no problem with this.
Best Features: For a long tour. It is smooth. No glitches.
Pros: Mileage. Look. Ease of maintenance.

DISCOVER 125T Disc (Blue): 2 years review
Completed two years, 20000 KMs, went for long rides of 400 kms thrice. Happy for being the owner of this bike.

I have this bike since 2 years.. riding comfortably.. Mileage 55-60 kmpl in city.. 65 above in highways.. Not smooth in low speed..it makes little sound..
