Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

Bajaj Chetak Premium Discussion
Before you plan to buy all new Bajaj chetak electronic scooter
The new Bajaj Chetak electric scooter goes on sale January 2020, With new stylish look and promising performance Bajaj auto has also said it will provide a home charging station.. But before we actually jump in to buying decision let’s have a look at the past customer experience.
There are total 3334 complaints till date in just one out of the 1000 complaint forums online , So technically every 8th user of Bajaj customer is unhappy and unheard that’s why they have been posting complaints on multiple forums . These could be just hypothetical no’s, let me share my own personal experience.
I bought Bajaj Avenger 220 in April 2019 from a friend who has purchased in Jan 2019 and just rode 700 Kms and from that very much day I have been following for Faulty digital Meter. I have send them numerous mails and after some 25 mails and 3 months of follow up I was asked to call on customer care.;
The tragedy doesn’t end here, after ensuring timely services both paid and free services, few days back I was asked to change the clutch plate and chain socket along with drum set. Total amount I was billed for the same was Rs 5500/- .
Its not been year and I have already started paying 5500 for maintenance apart from regular service charges which are approximately 1500 per service. In all for service and maintenance I will be paying 24000 a year. As per company promise the average is not even to the mark of 35 kms so I would be riding this bull for 2000 monthly apart from fuel expenses.
The only reason someone would opt for new bike for hassle and maintenance free drive however if at all in the first year within 110000 kms you end up paying so much what kind of product is company delivering to market .
On launch of new Bajaj chetak has announced 3 years/50000 kms warranty when they have already failed in existing petrol engine , why would someone go for a experiment of electric engine when company has already failed in the product which they have been claiming to be the best .Getting connected to Bajaj customer service is adding another unpaid job to their wish list wherein you will find yourself mailing them for ages and only reply after years of follow up you would be asked to call customer care .
Imagine yourself buying new stylish Bajaj Electric scooter and god forbid if anything goes wrong between the rides you are going to spend rest of your life contacting them. So called leaders of the market are not bothered to look back in query of existing customer but definitely they have huge team to look forward to launch new products in market.
I pray for all those people who are awaiting to buy new Bajaj chetak electric and this will bring some more forums and complaint sites as already there have been numerous complaints unanswered .
