Hi Everyone I think we are most unfortunate bike enthusiast as Mr. Tata launched Nano with twin cylinder car in 1,00,000 (approx) but no one in motor bike industry has courage to launch one decent twin cylinder motor bike. They took Japanese technology for RD 350 and Korean for Comet 250 but never introduced a self design twin engine model. They bought foreign technology and now foreign bikes (Kawasaki Ninja, Hyosung GT) which are pretty expensive. They are just increasing diameter of cylinder/piston and increasing the cubic capacity. I am really keen to know, what exactly is stopping them when there are demands for twin cylinders bikes in India. Bajaj has a very good motor bike i.e. Pulsar 150 in really reasonable price, approx 75k so if they design single engine with 5 gears and 150 cc in 75k, can’t they design one inline twin cylinder in 1.5 lacs. This question is bothering me from last many years. I will really appreciate if someone will answer.

See first this hing is impossible cuz the level of bhp is high if it comes then the speed cud be low cuz its first of shown as sohc engine,if they wanted to make make a sports bike they would have used dohc cuz its shown 6 ghear with high bhp and it should be twin cylinder bike,and see the launch time,this thing is fake.

Instead of removing more more power full bikes,this bajaj came to low to 200,i dont think so that bajaj is goin to launch this bike,it seems fake,and see the launch period given,the company generally gives 6months launch period max to max 1 year. I think that its fake.

Mr Bajaj launched a car with pulsar 220cc engine. The how can we expect a high cc bike. Even they launch it would be the Kawasaki or KTM engine. They onle will increase the spark plugs. That is there R & D division.

I think you have never rode a cbr, . . And even if the price of cbr is high, it still stands as the No.1 in quality, performance, speed and power. . .

Thats a great news, i have owned a Pulsar 150 and Avenger 180(current). I have become so used to with the cruiser styling, i cant think of driving any other bike. I love harley, triumph and other cruiser bike brands but they are way out of my budget. Before Avenger 200cc was launched i was expecting a major upgrade from Bajaj (some 350cc+ cruiser), but they launched a 200cc bike(Just 20cc more), i was disappointed. With the 350cc pulsar coming next year, I hope they install the same heart in Avenger as well as they have been doing it so far. Add more weight to it(175-185kg), rear disc brakes, 22+ltr tank, loud and heavy exhaust note, better suspension(esp. for pot holes, gravel and wet surface), even wider tyres, decent mileage and keep the price competitive(under 1.5 lakh). That will make it a complete beast and it will be a huge success, i am sure there are many people in India who are starving for powerful cruiser bikes but there aren't many options to choose from. Please Bajaj make it happen.
