I've actually found the chrome edition runs a little cooler on long rides. The painted version would reflect less heat than the chrome.

With a few mods, like a better seat and handlebar risers, it can be a great long distance bike. It's okay but not amazing stock.

On mine I've done 500km days without issue. The secret is to take breaks and to stay hydrated.
