If you are a beginner looking to upgrade from smaller cc bikes and want to know how the KTM Duke 250 performs?
04 April 2025 05:19
The KTM Duke 250 is considered a great option for beginners upgrading from smaller cc bikes. It offers a fun ride with its 248cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 31 PS of power. The bike is praised for its nimble handling and responsive performance, making it suitable for both city commuting and spirited rides.
Let us see how the KTM Duke 250 fares against its competitors in this case of value for money?
04 April 2025 05:14
The KTM Duke 250 offers a good balance of performance and affordability, making it a strong value-for-money proposition. It competes with bikes like the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Bajaj Dominar 400, but its unique blend of style, handling, and features makes it appealing to those seeking a fun, entry-level sport bike.
Why do I have a feeling that some riders will not buy the KTM Duke 125 if Yamaha MT 15 V1 is available at a similar price?
03 February 2025 05:33
Riders might prefer the Yamaha MT-15 V1 over the KTM Duke 125 due to its more powerful engine (18.1 bhp vs 14.3 bhp) and better fuel efficiency (around 56.87 kmpl vs 46.92 kmpl). The MT-15 also offers a more refined riding experience and better visual appeal, which could sway buyers away from the Duke 125 if priced similarly.
How will the Pulsar SS400 compare against KTM's product line?
31 January 2025 10:54
I believe that Bajaj will keep the SS400 one step below RC390 in terms of performance, deliberately. Especially since they profit from the partnership with KTM, they won't be keen to cannibalize KTM sales. The SS400 should be more comfortable and practical for daily use but less track focused than the KTM.
What is the real world rideability of Pulsar SS400 against KTM RC 390?
31 January 2025 10:46
I don't think so. However, the riding styles of the SS400 and Dominar 400 are different. The SS400 will be the choice for sport bike enthusiasts, but if you want a more versatile machine, then the Dominar will be your pick.
Is the KTM 790 Duke’s little brother, the Svartpilen 801, worth the premium over it?
28 January 2025 09:39
If you can afford it, I’d say it’s worth it. The Svartpilen is that conversation starter and has that cool factor the Duke doesn’t have.
Is the KTM 390 SMC R actually good for beginners to learn stunts and supermoto techniques?
23 January 2025 11:44
The real problem is that it’s probably too easy to stunt on. The bike is so capable, you could develop bad habits. If you start on something slower, you can build the skills properly.
Will the KTM 390 SMC R work for taller/heavier riders?
23 January 2025 11:44
It's all about technique. A small bike can dance, if a skilled bigger rider can make it do that. And the SMC R has adjustable suspension, which you can dial in.
How much of a headache is maintenance on the KTM 390 SMC R?
23 January 2025 11:44
It's all relative. It’s gonna be a piece of cake to maintain compared to a dirt bike. It's going to be a bit more work than a Ninja 400. Depends on your perspective.
Is the KTM 390 SMC R too much of a bike for a beginner rider?
23 January 2025 11:44
It depends on the rider. If you're mature and make it easy in the beginning, you could totally learn on this. Stay away if you’re gonna be an idiot with the throttle though.
Will the KTM 390 SMC R actually be practical to use every day?
23 January 2025 11:44
It's all about priorities. If you don’t care about having storage, comfort or being able to sit, it could work. For most people, a Duke would be more practical, but for me it would be the Duke, for sure.
What is the most ridiculous mod you have seen on a KTM Super Duke R Special Edition?
16 January 2025 06:52
I saw a dude that put a sidecar on his Super Duke R because he wanted to take his dog on rides. It looked ridiculous, but kind of awesome at the same time.
What would the dating profile of the KTM Super Duke R Special Edition be?
16 January 2025 06:52
Looking for a long-term relationship, exotic European. "Don’t believe everything you hear; I am not just a pretty face; I have the brains and brawn to back it up. Warning: A highly addictive personality."
Is the KTM Super Duke R Special Edition worth the extra dough?
16 January 2025 06:52
Absolutely worth it! It's not just a fancy paint job. You get top-shelf Öhlins suspension, forged wheels, and that sweet Akrapovic exhaust. Think of it as the regular Super Duke R that went to finishing school and came back with a PhD in badassery.
How does the KTM Super Duke R Special Edition work for daily commutes?
16 January 2025 06:52
Commuting actually isn't that bad! City riding is a breeze on the upright riding position and low-end torque. And just be prepared for everyone at work to hate you for having such a cool ride.
Having ridden the motorcycle, I must state that it is worth its price tag, which is slightly higher than what you’d pay for other sport tourers.
16 January 2025 06:46
It depends on what you value. Yes, if you want the best-performing sport tourer, no matter the cost. If you have a more budget-conscious side, then look elsewhere.
Is the electronics package on the KTM Super Duke GT overkill or a game changer?
16 January 2025 06:46
It’s a game changer for the electronics. Without them, you ride faster and safer than you ever could. It’s like having a safety net that won’t get in your way until you need it.
Is the KTM Super Duke GT too civilized to live up to its "Beast" reputation?
16 January 2025 06:46
It's a beast when you don't want it to be and refined when you do. That’s what makes it so special; it’s got multiple personalities.
Is the KTM Super Duke GT too much bike for daily commuting?
16 January 2025 06:46
Commuting definitely requires overkill. In city traffic you'll never use even half its potential. It’s also expensive to maintain and insure. Go get something more practical for daily use.
What’s the difference between the KTM Super Duke GT and other adventure bikes for long-distance touring?
16 January 2025 06:46
Both I've toured on and I prefer the ADV bikes. After several hours in the saddle, it makes a big difference to be upright and be better protected from the wind.
