Having ridden the motorcycle, I must state that it is worth its price tag, which is slightly higher than what you’d pay for other sport tourers.

The KTM Super Duke GT is toward the top of the sport touring price range and can be much more expensive than others such as the BMW R1250RS or Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. However, the premium pricing of this model creates value-for-money questions in the sport-touring segment. Supporters say the GT's high-performance engine, electronics, and KTM's reputation for performance are worth the price. But other bikes, critics argue, offer the same features and comfort for less money. You also need to look at long-term ownership costs, such as maintenance and reliability problems. Since it's an entry into a segment in which it has little experience, is the Super Duke GT's performance and feature set worth the extra money, or should buyers opt for one of the sport tourers out there for less money?

Absolutely worth it. The price is justified by the engine alone—no other engine in the class even comes close to that V-twin’s character and power.

What it is, it's overpriced for. With other sport tourers, you can achieve 90 percent of the performance for 70 percent of the cost.

You get premium components for the premium price. What you pay for is WP suspension, Brembo brakes, and top-notch electronics.

If you’re going to use it to its full potential, I think it’s worth it. If you are just touring, there are better deals.

I'd say yes, after owning one. There is no better versatility—it’s a superbike, a tourer, and a commuter all in one.

It’s expensive, but so is everything truly special. This is not just a bike; it is an experience you cannot get elsewhere.

Preeti on 03 January 2025 05:25
Not worth it for me. Any performance gains are offset by maintenance costs and reliability concerns typical of most of these materials.

Nirati on 11 January 2025 08:21
It holds its value well, but it's an expensive price. If you decide to sell, you’ll get more back, but you’ll spend more upfront.

Charu on 13 January 2025 03:48
It depends on what you value. Yes, if you want the best-performing sport tourer, no matter the cost. If you have a more budget-conscious side, then look elsewhere.

I would say that it is worth it just for the uniqueness factor. It’s a conversation starter wherever you go, and you don’t see many on the road.
