Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti 800 LPG AC is a stalwart in the Indian automotive landscape, renowned for its reliability, low maintenance, and efficient performance. My experience with this vehicle has been overwhelmingly positive, with users consistently praising its good handling, comfortable ride, and robust mileage. Despite its age, the Maruti 800 remains a viable option for those seeking a no-frills, economical car that can navigate through Indias congested city roads with ease. The addition of LPG as a fuel option further enhances its appeal by reducing running costs. However, its important to note that the cars design and features are quite basic, which might not appeal to those looking for modern amenities.
Price
The pricing of the Maruti 800 LPG AC in India is highly competitive, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. While the Maruti 800 is no longer in production, its successor, the Maruti Alto 800, provides a similar value proposition. The ex-showroom price for the Maruti Alto 800, which is the closest current model, ranges from Rs 3.54 lakh to Rs 5.13 lakh in Delhi. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, can range from approximately Rs 4.2 lakh to Rs 6.3 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Maruti Alto 800, and by extension the Maruti 800 LPG AC, one of the most affordable cars in the Indian market.

Pros: Good performance, power to weight ratio, mileage, easy and fun to drive, easy to maintain, easy to drive in crowded areas
Cons: The interiors could have been a little better. Bad smell when it is old, less space in the car
