The Yamaha Gladiator is powered by a 1 cylinder, 123.7 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine. This engine produces 8.05 Nm of torque and 8.01 PS of power, making it a reliable choice for daily commuting. I think this engine is well-suited for the Indian market, where fuel efficiency is a key consideration.

The Yamaha Gladiator features a sleek and sporty design, appealing to the younger demographic in India. It includes a digital instrument cluster and a stylish headlamp, enhancing its overall aesthetic. I believe the design will attract a lot of attention on Indian roads.

The Yamaha Gladiator is priced competitively in the Indian market, making it an affordable option for many buyers. The exact pricing varies by region, but it generally falls within the budget of many first-time bike owners. I think the pricing strategy will help Yamaha gain a significant market share.

While the Yamaha Gladiator does not boast advanced safety features, it does come with basic safety equipment such as drum brakes and a robust chassis. However, for enhanced safety, riders might need to consider additional accessories. I believe adding more safety features could make the bike even more appealing.

I have Yamaha Gladiator Type SS Red-silver colour, for how much should I sell my bike?
02 January 2023 06:29
Your Yamaha Gladiator SS has a market price of INR 22,000-24,000 as the model was discontinued and a new, SS 125 was launched with identical specifications. You can get a maximum of INR 26,000 if you try to sell it directly, instead of getting with some bike dealer. Your low reading on the odometer will benefit you and the bike would easily get sold for the same. It gets a 123 cc engine, producing 11 BHP and 10.4 NM of torque. The disc brake in a 125 cc bike would be a plus point for you. Its design is better than any other 125 cc bike and i would even suggest you to keep the bike if you are planning to opt for a new one. You won't get any extra features in a 125 cc bike, if you ever go for it again.
From where can I get a carburetor for Yamaha Gladiator (2000 model)?
02 January 2023 06:23
The carburetor for Yamaha Gladiator can be availed from its authorized service center. The bike being quiet old may not get a Gladiator carburetor but Yamaha technicians can get you a suitable and much improved version for your motorcycle. You can also get the same from some aftermarket shop but the reliability factor decreases in that case. Yamaha service center would give you a genuine part, even if it belong to some other motorcycle of the same category whereas the aftermarket shop can give you some low quality part for a wrong price due to its scarcity. The 5-speed Gladiator was a very impressive bike of its time and you can even get it more alive with the help of better and genuine parts for the bike.
