Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

User Reviews for TVS Scooty
Lightest in the segment
I bought TVS Scooty Pep Plus in 2013 and I have chosen blush Red shade in it. It looks amazing in this color. It is very convenient in handling and it just cross the heavy traffic like a winner. Its seating posture is comfortable and it is most suitable for the short height person like me. I always had a fear of riding heavy vehicles on road as I am 4'9", handle other scooters like Activa etc is not my cup of tea. Now, I drive this scooter fearlessly and I never faced any parking problem with it. It also scores good marks in the term of mileage, It returns me 45-49 kmpl average from which I am satisfied. It also have enough space to carry your routine bag with documents of scoot. The problem of this scooter which is not a technical prob though is, tall person can't ride it comfortably because of its height. Else its a good option for short height person.
Best Features: Handling and Comfort
Pros: Light weight, Easy handling, Price
Cons: Not for long tour
Worst Experience with the Bike
I purchased this bike exactly two months ago for my wife, the decision was primarily to save Rs.7000.00 over Honda Activa’s cost. Much more could be done to make this bike. I feel this bike lacks in various aspects like it has poor pickup, it is stylish to some extent though still brakes are unreliable as the vehicle simply doesn't stop when it rains and if you still persist, the front fork will develop a shake into it. It has very low ground clearance- hits even smallest humps on the road -especially with pillion rider. The buyers specially the women who do not go into technical aspects/reliability/performance details are cheated by the looks.
Best Features: Satisfactory features, not impressed
Pros: Free Maintenance, Moderate Mileage good for Scooty
Cons: Poor quality tyres, Can't bear heavy weight, Unreliable brakes
