Wednesday, 28 August 2019 07:44 AM TVS launched the Scooty Pep+ SBT in two new color schemes, red and gold, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Scooty. These new colors are available alongside the standard colors like brown, black, blue, purple, and pink. The Scooty Pep+ SBT is priced at Rs 42,397 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and features TVS’ Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT) as standard. I think these new colors will appeal to a younger audience.
Thursday, 15 August 2019 06:20 PM The TVS Scooty Pep+ SBT continues to be mechanically identical to the current model, featuring an 87.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 4.9hp and 5.8Nm of torque. Tuesday, 25 June 2019 09:28 AM The TVS Scooty Pep+ SBT model retains its compact dimensions and light kerb weight, which are key factors in its popularity among learners and urban commuters. The scooters design and engineering make it easy to handle in tight city spaces.

Thursday, 28 February 2019 10:04 PM The launch of the new colors for the TVS Scooty Pep+ SBT was seen as a strategic move to boost sales during the festive season in India. The new colors and anniversary edition are expected to attract more buyers.
Friday, 25 January 2019 01:22 PM TVS highlighted the fuel efficiency of the Scooty Pep+, which remains a significant selling point. The scooters light weight and efficient engine make it one of the most fuel-efficient options in the market. I think this is a major advantage in a price-sensitive market like India.

Wrong decision of my life

It looks like a plastic toy. Most of the scooter's parts are made up of fibre and plastic. The fuel tank is fibre made which is not safe. The main drawback of this scooty is low mileage offering approx 35 to 40 kmpl on tough roads. Don't apply brakes often, because high acceleration and sudden brakes would consume the fuel more. Having tight brakes can be dangerous and it can easily skid. The looks can give you a confidence on road but actually it does not have the standard to run on road with other scooter. The under seat storage is pretty decent and can accommodate limited things. It is a perfect companion for girls due to its light weight which makes it easy to handle and one can easily take this scooter in tough areas. I don't have any complaints regarding engine and so is the price.

I bought this scooty six months ago. I am having a satisfactory experience till now. The engine gives the mileage of about 35 kmpl that tends to be disappointing for me. On the positive side, it is light in weight and gives out an attractive sight. Coming onto the turn offs I feel It has a poor built quality, the body seems to look like I am carrying a toy. poor maintenance and service .
